SBR EMAIL RESPONSE TEST: APRIL 13, 2007

Objective: To test the speed and effectiveness of sportsbook customer service by email.
Test Email Submission

Hello,

Do you guys have a dimeline for baseball? And either way, how much can I bet on the money line?

Also, do you have 5 inning (1st half) baseball lines? What is the most I can bet on those? Also do you have grand salami lines? I really bet a lot of baseball. Is there a loyalty or rewards program for people who bet a crapload?

Thanks, Luke Hassler

Quality of Response: Fair

Comments: Luke Hassler appreciated the fast response but he doesn't realize that Pinnacle's MLB moneyline starts at 8 cents, which is the best baseball offer available from any sportsbook. Luke has to assume that Pinnacle does not have a "rewards program" since customer service only mentioned sign-up bonus incentives.

Comments: 5Dimes addressed each of Mr. Hassler's questions with precise answers giving him the impression that the sportsbook will be efficient and provide a no-nonsense experience. 5Dimes made sure to point out that they are not a "bonus sportsbook," leaving Luke to assume a loyalty program will not be offered.

Quality of Response: Fair

Comments: Luke was confused when WSEX said they didn't have a dimeline since WSEX is displayed on SBR's Best Baseball Lines page with a 7 cent line up to -110 and a10 cent line up to -147. Luke will have to call back to make sure he is not losing out on favorable odds. He will also have to ask about the loyalty program since it was not addressed by WSEX CS.

Quality of Response: Good

Comments: Luke is becoming frustrated that many sportsbooks fail to address his question about loyalty programs. Mr. Hassler thinks he is a very big gambler and wants to feel like he is in a high roller club! However, he was impressed with all the information regarding his wagering needs and felt as if he would receive friendly service.

Quality of Response: Poor

Comments: It seemed that Centrebet customer service either did not understand the questions, or did not read the entire email. None of Luke's questions were answered but Centrebet did brief him on some neat, but irrelevant, MLB proposition wagers. Luke may decide to email again since the response time was relatively good.

Quality of Response: Poor

Comments: Canbet ignored all inquiries and requested Luke to validate his account with ID documentation. Luke thinks Canbet might have seen that his account is new and automatically sent a preformed letter. Luke decided he wasn't going to make the effort for a company that hasn't proven it has the desired level of service.

Comments: Luke wondered why it took Justbet customer service nearly two days to ask him to call customer service. Luke does not want to call Justbet. Luke wagers when he is at the office while he is supposed to be working and has decided he can't risk having poor email service.
