The LSU Tigers have already wrapped up the SEC West, but they need to win a road game against the Texas A&M Aggies to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. Read on for our LSU vs. Texas A&M college football picks and predictions.

The Tigers have won five in a row to wrap up the SEC West and put themselves in a position to compete for an SEC title, and possibly even more. However, they will need to win at Kyle Field this week, a place where they haven't come away victorious since 2016.

It’s been a tough season for the Aggies. After starting 3-1, they lost six in a row to lose any chance of making a bowl game. Though they won't be playing in the postseason, with a win, they could head into the offseason feeling like there was at least something positive to come out of this season.

Here are our top picks for the college football Week 13 game between LSU and Texas A&M (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

LSU vs. Texas A&M Odds Analysis

The Tigers opened as 8.5-point favorites, and with bettors showing them overwhelming support, the line has swelled to -10 at all the major sportsbooks except FanDuel Sportsbook.

The total has seen less consistent support. The line opened at 46, and it has risen to 47.5. Bettors are split on what to make of the line, with 73% of cash on the Under but 67% of tickets on the Over.

LSU vs. Texas A&M Picks

  • Spread: Texas A&M +10 (-110)
  • Over/Under: Under 47.5 (-110)
  • Prop bet: First half Over 23 (-120)

LSU vs. Texas A&M ATS Pick

Texas A&M +10 (-110) ★★★★

Despite the Aggies’ record, they have lost quite a few close games. They have lost five contests by six or fewer points, including at the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Tigers have rattled off five wins in a row, but two of those victories came by three points or less. They have played in only three true road games this season, and they have won those contests by a combined 17 points.

If this line was listed at a touchdown or less then the Tigers would be the right play. But this is too many points for a team that's biggest road win this season was by 10 points.

LSU vs. Texas A&M O/U Pick

Under 47.5 (-110) ★★★

The Aggies have given up only 21 points per game this season. However, during their six-game SEC losing streak, they did allow 30 or more points four times. Yet, in their last two games, they have given up just 16 points total.

The Aggies know this is their final game of the season, and we expect them to leave everything out there. Though their offense isn’t very good, their defense has the ability to hamper LSU in some capacity.

The Tigers have scored 40 or more points in three of their last five games. However, they have scored more than three touchdowns in only one of their three road games. They gave up 35 to the Florida Gators’ solid offense, but they allowed just 17 and 10 to the Auburn Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks, respectively.

LSU vs. Texas A&M Prop Pick

First half Over 23 (-120) ★★★

Though we expect the Under to hit for the full 60 minutes, we expect the first half to go Over before teams have the chance to make necessary adjustments.

When Texas A&M played Auburn and the UMass Minutemen, the first-half total went well Under 23. However, in their previous four games, the first-half total went to 24 or higher.

The Tigers are an offensive-minded team, and they should be able to score at least two touchdowns in the first half before the Aggies bear down and turn this one into a defensive struggle in the second half like they did against Alabama and Arkansas.
