⚾ Cy Young Odds & Favorites 2026: Skenes, Skubal Among Favorites
Last Updated: March 30, 2026 4:58 PM EDT • 4 minute read X Social Google News Link
The latest Cy Young odds show last year's winners are well-positioned to repeat. Tarik Skubal is priced tightly with 2025 AL Cy Young runner-up Garrett Crochet, while Paul Skenes has fallen marginally behind Cristopher Sanchez in the NL, though he still sits in second by the odds.
Reigning World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto lurks closely in the NL too behind Skenes and Sanchez.

| Cole Ragans AL Cy Young (+1200 via FanDuel) | Andrew Brennan | March 24, 2026 |
Brennan: There are a few pitchers I really like in the AL this year, with Logan Gilbert, Bryan Woo, and Max Fried all profiling as solid betting options. However, it's Ragans' ceiling that I love. He's the only one of that group who can challenge Skubal and Crochet's strikeout numbers. I also like that he pitches in the AL Central with Skubal, as he could really shine for voters if he performs better if the two square off. I'm looking for a big bounce-back year from Ragans after a disappointing 2025.

| Logan Webb NL Cy Young (+2000 via theScore Bet) | Andrew Brennan | March 24, 2026 |
Brennan: I was initially going to bet Cristopher Sanchez at +800, but I think he and Webb are fairly similar pitchers, and one is trading at odds that are more than twice as long. Webb was once again a stud in 2025, and the only thing missing from him capturing his first Cy Young Award is a bit of BABIP luck. Last year, his BABIP sat at an ungodly .346. Now, it's not surprising for ground-ball pitchers to have higher BABIPs, but that's absurd. If that normalizes this year and drops to around .290, he could have an ERA hovering around 2.50 with his improved strikeout stuff. That sounds like Cy Young-worthy pitching to me.

The player with the most points wins. In the event of a tie, the award is shared.
