Friday brings a star-filled five-game schedule, and I've found two NBA player props I absolutely love ahead of the 7:00 p.m. ET tipoff.
I’ve locked in Cade Cunningham and Nikola Jokic as my favorite plays for tonight - we’re rolling with two total units ($100) across the board. Let’s build some momentum and pad the bankroll heading into the weekend.

💰 Best NBA player prop: Cunningham stays hot vs. Cavs tonight (-114)
Check out all of our NBA analysis and expert predictions this season.
Cleveland ranks among the NBA's stronger defensive teams, but if Harden ends up guarding Cunningham, he could be in for a big night - 30+ points is well within reach. Cade is coming off a highly efficient 11-of-15 shooting performance against the Thunder, and if that rhythm carries over, he should clear 25.5 points with room to spare. I’d be comfortable backing this down to -120.
Our Corey Scott is also on a Cade Cunningham prop in his Cavaliers vs. Pistons player props today.

Jokic anchors our parlay, sinks two from deep (-186)
Yes, I know -186 betting odds isn't anything to write home about, but this is a perfect play to squeeze some extra juice out of our three-leg parlay, as I have this priced closer to -220. Jokic has drained at least two 3-pointers in three of four games this month, and is coming off a 13-attempt game against the Celtics. While we likely won't see that type of volume again (he averages five attempts per game this month), I still love this play.
Corey Scott features another Jokic prop in his Nuggets vs. Thunder player props.
NBA Play of the Day
Here is LJ Blut's X video Play of the Day that features Pistons -5.5.
The Pistons should cover –5.5 tonight mainly because Donovan Mitchell is out injured with a groin issue, which significantly dents Cleveland’s offensive firepower. Without Mitchell, and with other Cavs starters questionable, Detroit’s balanced scoring and strong defense get a big boost.
The Pistons are also solid at home and have tended to outperform Cleveland this season, especially against undermanned Cavs squads. With the Cavs shorthanded and Detroit clicking on both ends, covering –5.5 seems very attainable tonight.

💡 How I'm betting the NBA slate
Friday's card is built around either matchup edges based off mismatches I’ve identified, or fading a potential injury. Unit sizes are adjusted based on where I see the strongest value. In the case of Harden, he's been more of a facilitator than scorer since his arrival in Cleveland, and I'm comfortable exposing two units based off that information and his broken thumb. I'm using $50 as my unit size, meaning I'm in for $200 today. If we have a good couple of weeks moving into the stretch run, it might be time to move our unit size to $75.
If you're looking for the do's and don'ts of bankroll management, our LJ Blut has you covered.
