The third-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs will face the fourth-seeded UConn Huskies in Saturday’s West Regional Final. Here are our best UConn vs. Gonzaga prop picks based on the top NCAAB odds.

UConn and Gonzaga will square off in Las Vegas with a Final Four berth up for grabs. The Huskies are coming off a dominant win over Arkansas for their third consecutive double-digit victory of the tourney. The Bulldogs needed a logo 3-pointer from Julian Strawther in the closing seconds to knock off UCLA.

Despite completely different Sweet 16 performances, UConn opened as a short favorite over Gonzaga ahead of Saturday’s showdown. In a true toss-up of a game, it might be best to look to the player prop market to find the best value in this Elite Eight battle.

Here are our best UConn vs. Gonzaga prop picks (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

What does Strawther have in store for us after his audacious 3-pointer in the closing seconds of Thursday’s win over UCLA? Seriously, who takes that shot in that moment with such confidence? A player that knows how good he is, that’s who.

Strawther, a projected first-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, is averaging 15.4 points per game this season to go along with 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest. His season averages would cash this ticket, but he has cleared this prop in each NCAA Tournament game thus far and four of his previous five contests.

Drew Timme, who is coming off a 36-point performance, is going to command UConn’s primary attention. That should open the door for Gonzaga’s perimeter players to expose the Huskies’ hard-hedge screens.

Strawther has collected 29 total rebounds in the tourney, which is why we are playing his PRA prop instead of his scoring line of 14.5. We would play this PRA combo line up to -135 before attacking Strawther’s individual props instead.

Andre Jackson Jr. Over 18.5 points, rebounds, and assists (-130 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

From a PRA prop for one wing to another. Andre Jackson Jr. and Strawther might actually match up on each other quite a bit in this one. Like Strawther, Jackson should hear his name called in this year’s NBA Draft. Jackson has also taken his game to another level of late.

Jackson has cleared this number in all three NCAA Tournament games and each of UConn’s previous seven victories, dating back to Feb. 25. The best part about betting on Jackson? He doesn’t even need to score to make a huge impact on the game.

Against Arkansas, Jackson scored just seven points, but added eight rebounds and seven assists. He recorded 13 combined rebounds and assists against Saint Mary’s, a game in which Jackson finished with just six points.

Jackson is an explosive athlete and thrives in transition, where he ranks in the 71st percentile in the country via Synergy Sports Technology. That bodes well in Saturday’s game against the Bulldogs, who want to play fast even though they rank in the 18th percentile in transition defense.

This game is suited for Jackson, which is why we would play this up to 19.5 PRA before passing on this four-star pick.

Andre Jackson Jr. Over 4.5 assists (+105 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

The biggest reason we like Jackson’s combo prop is because of his ability as a facilitator. After giving out the Over on his assist prop against Arkansas, I have no problem going back even though the line is one assist higher. That just makes the plus-money price at DraftKings more appealing, especially since it is +100 at Caesars.

Jackson, a 6-foot-6 wing, flies under the radar as a passer. He ranks 81st in the country with an average of 4.5 assists per game. His assist rate of 25.5% is good for 178th in the nation, according to Ken Pomeroy.

This is where Jackson has taken his game to another level in the tourney, however. He has recorded seven assists in each of his previous three contests, though none of those matchups were as suited for his style of play as this one is. Jackson has cleared this mark in six of his seven March performances, averaging 6.1 dimes per contests this month.

In fact, the only time Jackson didn’t hit this Over was when he played just 15 minutes in a loss to Marquette during the Big East Tournament. We expect the Huskies to win on Saturday, so play this prop at anything -115 or better on Over 4.5 assists.
