🐾 Panthers +3 (-105)
The Panthers might be the road team here, but they just won this matchup two weeks ago and have been the better team over the second half of the season. We simply haven't seen the Buccaneers look right since injuries started piling up, and even with a mostly healthy cast, I'm taking the points with Carolina and expect an outright upset.

The Seahawks might be the best team in football, but the 49ers have had their number in recent years and have been firing on all cylinders offensively to close the season. With Seattle traveling home cross-country on a short week, I like San Francisco's chances to win at home against a familiar foe.

🟣 Vikings -5.5 (-120)
The Packers have fallen apart down the stretch to give up the NFC North division title, but they're still locked into the No. 7 seed and have no reason to risk injuries to any key starters on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Vikings can finish with a winning record to close out J.J. McCarthy's first season as a starter - even if he doesn't play in this game. I trust Minnesota's defense to get the job done.

🐆 Jaguars -10.5 (-105)
The Jaguars have plenty to play for in Week 18 with the AFC South title still on the line and the No. 1 seed in the AFC up for grabs. While this would be a classic letdown spot for Trevor Lawrence and Co., I expect them to close the year strong after a remarkable season under first-year coach Liam Coen.

🐴 Colts +10.5 (-112)
The Texans need a win here to stay alive for the AFC South division title, and the Colts have nothing at stake. But Houston has rarely won big this year, and Indy would love nothing more than to play spoiler. I expect this one to remain close even if the Texans ultimately win it.

The Giants already sabotaged their chances of getting the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft next year - why not score another win over their bitter rival? Both of these defenses suck and neither team has anything on the line. Take the points.

The Browns were home underdogs last week before their defense put on a clinic in a 13-6 win against a Steelers team that desperately wanted a win. I don't see why this spot would be so different for Cleveland with Myles Garrett still chasing the single-season sack record.

The Saints have been a completely different team with Tyler Shough under center, having won four straight in December to end Kellen Moore's first season as head coach on a high note. I'm frankly surprised the Falcons are favored by this much; I like New Orleans to win outright.

The Patriots have plenty at stake in this matchup, but the Dolphins have been a competent foe down the stretch, and this feels like too big of a number between familiar opponents in a game that isn't do-or-die for the home favorites.

The Rams essentially sealed their fate in the NFC playoff picture with that crazy overtime loss to the Seahawks in Week 16. While they'd rather earn the No. 5 seed and face the NFC South winner, I wouldn't be surprised to see Los Angeles take its foot off the gas in the fourth quarter.

The Bears keep taking punches from the NFL's best teams, and they keep getting off the mat and responding the next week. I'm expecting a similar showing this week against a Lions team that has already been eliminated from the playoffs.

It's hard to know what to expect from the Eagles on a week-to-week basis, but I do know this Commanders defense is truly dreadful, and their offense isn't much better with Jayden Daniels sidelined for the rest of the season. Expect Philly to win big to build momentum entering the postseason.

The Bills are resigned to a wild-card spot after last week's narrow defeat to the Eagles, but seeding is still at stake in this divisional matchup against one of the worst teams in football. I expect Josh Allen and Co. to show out in this one to build a wide margin early.

Both of these teams punted on the season weeks ago, and while the Raiders have been the worse football team this year, this feels like a lot of points in a meaningless Week 18 matchup with the road favorites relying on a third-string QB. I like the points in a classic "plug your nose" betting spot.

🐎 Broncos -7.5 (-106)
The Chargers still have a narrow but unlikely path to the No. 5 seed in the AFC, while the Broncos need to win this one to ensure home-field advantage through the playoffs. Denver's defense needs to step up in this spot, and I expect its pass rush to get home against L.A.

🐦⬛ Ravens -3.5 (+100)
I would be compelled to wait until later in the week to see if this number moves toward Pittsburgh. If it doesn't, though, I still favor Baltimore to rely on its run game to tear through a weak Steelers defense. If Lamar Jackson doesn't play, that doesn't change this play for me, so take advantage if the line moves.
