Following an eventful FA Cup fourth round, the Premier League returns with big matches affecting both ends of the table. Sean Dyche takes charge of his first game as Everton manager, when they face Arsenal in Saturday’s early game. Then Tottenham and Manchester City headline matchday 22 on Sunday. Here are our Premier League best bets.

Chelsea, and all their new signings, kick the weekend off on Friday with a west London derby at home to Fulham. The pressure will be on head coach Graham Potter more than ever to deliver results after the club single-handedly spent more than any other league on players last month. Four of the bottom six clubs are on the road, as they fight for their Premier League survival.

Here are our best Premier League bets for Matchday 22 (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook, FanDuel Sportsbook, and Caesars; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Matchday 22 Premier League Top Picks

Spread: Brighton -1.75 vs. Bournemouth (+125 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Since the Premier League restarted after the World Cup, no team has had a worse record than Bournemouth. They’ve scored the fewest goals (1), lost the most games (4) and collected the fewest points (1). They also have the second-worst defense during that span, conceding 10 goals.

Brighton, fresh off an FA Cup win over Liverpool, are enjoying a run of form that sees them sixth in the table. From their last five Premier League games, they’ve taken 10 points from 15. Their head coach, Roberto De Zerbi, has been in charge for 13 games. Since the Italian took over, only Arsenal and Manchester City have scored more goals than the Seagulls’ 26.

The Cherries can’t score, and they struggle to defend, which makes this play one of the best bets of the weekend. Brighton are at home, they’re scoring for fun, and Kaoru Mitoma is on fire. DraftKings is the only book offering the spread at -1.75, which pushes the price to a favorable +125.

Moneyline: Nottingham Forest to beat Leeds United (+165 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

Forest are on a decent run in the league. They’re unbeaten in their last four games in the competition, winning two and drawing two. That run has seen them climb out of the relegation zone to 13th, and four points from danger. There’s a buzz around the City Ground after a busy January transfer window, which included the signing of legendary goalkeeper, Keylor Navas, from PSG.

Leeds have only won four games all season, and just one of those wins came away from home. They have the worst away record in the league, drawing two and losing six of their nine matches on the road so far.

Forest are a tough team to beat at home, and I can’t see this Leeds side that’s travelled so poorly being able to win in Nottingham where the hosts are unbeaten in their last six at the City Ground. The moneyline value is best at DraftKings (+165). All our other major sportsbooks are offering +160 for a Forest win.

Total: Wolves-Liverpool Under 2.5 goals (+102 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐

Wolves have taken seven points from their last five games. It’s the same total they had from their previous 10 matches, which shows that their form is improving under new manager Julen Lopetegui.

Both these teams found it difficult to score in January. Liverpool found the net three times, while Wolves scored just twice all month in the league. The Reds haven’t scored in their last two Premier League games. Each of Liverpool’s last three visits to Wolves, in all competitions, have ended in 1-0 wins for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Goals could be at a premium for these two teams. Lopetegui will have his men behind the ball and look to attack Liverpool on the counter. It won’t be the most entertaining match on the Premier League schedule this weekend. Most books have the Under priced at +100, with FanDuel offering that extra juice on the total.

Prop: Everton-Arsenal both teams to score (+110 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐

Frank Lampard was fired after the Toffees’ humbling defeat at fellow strugglers West Ham last time out. It’s the dawn of a new era at Goodison Park, which brings fresh optimism for fans and players. Everton will be hoping this fresh start will have an immediate impact at home.

Sean Dyche took Burnley from the second tier of English soccer into European competition. His style of play isn’t the most attractive on the eye, but it delivers results.

Arsenal have won their last three away games in the league, scoring at least two goals in each of them. The Gunners will likely win this match, but Everton will make a game of it with players keen to catch the eye of their new manager.

The Gunners have a long journey for an early kick-off, which adds to the makings of a potential trap game. There are so many factors that boost the chances of Everton scoring, which makes this play so appealing.

The popular price for this play is +105 with most of our major books. FanDuel is offering +106, but the best value is with Caesars at +110.
