Sportsbooks list payout odds for 2008 Basketball Teasers. 5dimes (SBR rating A) tops the teaser chart for both basketball and
football.
Pinnacle (SBR rating A+) remains the only sportsbook allowing players to have more than 5.5 points and take as many as 7.5. Players can check back as the basketball season
nears for added information including teaser maximum and minimum risk amounts and changes to payout
odds. Multiple sportsbooks are considering broadening the range of points offered before the start of the NBA season. |

5dimes (SBR rating A) Group and both use
ASI software. BAS tells SBR players should be able to log into their accounts now without issue.

5dimes building with few complaints and good communication. The small amount of feedback received by SBR suggests players are please by an expanded wagering menu.

The sportsbook staff is currently importing account details to the 5dimes (SBR rating A) platform. All players should be able to access their ChineseBookie (SBR rating B-), VietBet (SBR rating B) and BetAnySports (SBR rating B) through these websites, or through 5dimes.com, by tomorrow morning. SBR will reevaluate the sportsbook properties after observing the migration process and discussing company structure with 5dimes. 5dimes ownership tells SBR that the Asian-servicing sportsbooks are fully backed by 5dimes.

reports that the book was misrepresenting itself as being affiliated with other known brands

BetRoyal (SBR rating D-) in an effort to acquire their players. BlackDog management tells SBR it has dismissed the offending members of its sales staff and "
any mention of any other sportsbook would result in immediate termination." SBR has not received any BlackDog withdrawal or wagering complaints. BlackDog has been added to the SBR rating guide at C-.

Bookmakers have settled in at 3.5 almost across the board. Pinnacle Sports is offering the best price for LSU at -101 followed by

SCAM ALERT: BlackDog Sportsbook falsely claiming to be part of 5dimes (SBR rating A) and offering credit accounts. Players report being solicited by the book which uses the website BlackDogEG.com and the slogan "Got Credit?" Blackdog is attempting to gain business by misrepresenting itself and offering players the ability to bet without deposits. This scam usually ends with bettors being unable to collect winnings, often after already having paid the book for previous losing weeks.
5dimes users will receive a warning message from customer service by email with the following statement:
It has come to our attention that another sportsbook has been soliciting customers claiming to be associated with 5dimes. 5dimes is NOT associated or partnered with any other offshore sportsbook. Any company stating they are working with 5dimes in any manner is a fraudulent scam trying to steal player's money using the 5dimes good name. There is only ONE 5dimes. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact 5dimes customer service.

More sportsbooks considering reduced juice pricing In an effort to obtain market share formerly held by
Pinnacle Sports (SBR rating A+), many sportsbooks will target players with new offers of reduced vigorish and low juice promotions. Multiple bookmakers have told SBR they are considering moving to "discount wagering" full-time after the announcement from
Pinnacle to leave the US market.
5dimes (SBR rating A) told SBR today that they have decided to offer -105 style lines (10 cent pricing) on all NHL hockey games.
5dimes already offered -105 lines on the NFL playoffs. Sportsbooks must be extremely skilled and experienced in order to manage low margin wagering. SBR advises players to stay with the best and most proven sportsbooks.

5dimes website issues are Internet Service Provider (ISP) hardware problems. The problem should be fully corrected in 24 hours or less. Currently, some players can login fine while others can not load the web site at all.
5dimes assures SBR they are working around the clock to resolve the ISP issues.
