2024-25 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Odds: McCaffrey, Hill Favorites Following NFL Draft
Most of the big offseason moves are complete, so we're checking out the updated NFL odds for the 2024 NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award.
In his first full season with the San Francisco 49ers, running back Christian McCaffrey finally took home NFL Offensive Player of the Year honors after twice finishing among the finalists through his first six seasons. He's a favorite or co-favorite at most of our best sports betting sites as we progress through the offseason.
There was a flurry of free-agent activity early this offseason, including some moves that impact our top 10 contenders.
Former New York Giants running back has flipped to the division rival Philadelphia Eagles and superstar wideout Justin Jefferson will have either Sam Darnold or a rookie throwing him the ball, as former QB Kirk Cousins has departed for the Atlanta Falcons.

Favorites to win NFL Offensive Player of the Year
Christian McCaffrey (+900 via FanDuel)
After winning this award last season, McCaffrey is the clear front-runner to repeat in this market in 2024, and it's easy to see why.
The former top-10 pick put up video game numbers for years with the Carolina Panthers, but he was truly unlocked once he moved to the Bay Area. McCaffrey led the league in touches (339), scrimmage yards (2,023), and total touchdowns (21) in 2023, averaging six yards every time he touched the ball.
If you're looking for a reason to fade McCaffrey, he is entering his age-28 season, which is a bit of a red flag for the position. We also haven't seen a repeat winner for this award since Marshall Faulk won three straight from 1999 to 2001, so it may be worth holding off on such a short price for an encore performance from CMC.
Justin Jefferson (+1400 via DraftKings)
Jefferson won this award in 2022 after leading the league in receptions (128) and receiving yards (1,809), and he led the league in yards per touch in both 2021 and 2022.
He was quietly even better in 2023, averaging 15.4 yards per touch and 107.4 receiving yards per game - both of which outpaced his efforts from that award-winning season in 2022. He played in just 10 games, though, and saw just 13 snaps in another before leaving with an injury.
Jefferson will need to stay healthy in 2024 regardless of who is under center, but he'll also probably have to overcome whoever is under center. Looks like he'll be receiving passes from veteran Sam Darnold or rookie J.J. McCarthy.
