Breanna Stewart (30) of the New York Liberty and A'ja Wilson (22) of the Las Vegas Aces battle in the 2023 WNBA Finals, as we look at the 2024 WNBA MVP odds and predictions with Wilson and Stewart as the betting favorites.

A'ja Wilson enters this season as the consensus favorite by the 2024 WNBA MVP odds across our best sports betting sites after Breanna Stewart won the award in 2023.

One of the closest MVP races in WNBA history ended with New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart winning the award in 2023. But our best sportsbooks don't expect a repeat performance in 2024.

Instead, Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson has the shortest WNBA odds for the award entering this season with odds as short as +100. She's dealing ahead of Stewart (Liberty) and Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun), the other two finalists for the award in 2023.

Wilson and Stewart have accounted for four of the last six MVP awards, and their teams remain the favorites by the latest WNBA championship odds. Yet Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is by far the most-bet player to win this award across our best sports betting apps and enters 2024 with as much hype as we've ever seen for any player in this league.

Here are the latest 2024 WNBA MVP odds with a look at the favorites and past winners:

2024 WNBA MVP favorites

A'ja Wilson (+120 via DraftKings)

Wilson averaged a career-best 22.8 points per game in 2023 for the star-studded and championship-winning Aces. Those points accompanied 9.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game across an average of 30.7 minutes while playing a full 40-game regular season.

She elevated her game further in the playoffs with 23.8 PPG and 11.8 RPG en route to the championship and the first WNBA Finals MVP award of her career:

However, Wilson was robbed of a repeat for the regular-season MVP by Stewart. That could motivate her heading into the 2024 season. Additional motivation could come in the form of wanting to win this award once again over the WNBA's highly-anticipated rookie class.

Breanna Stewart (+800 via FanDuel)

Few players in the WNBA are as decorated as Stewart, who has two WNBA titles and two league MVPs to her name. In her first season with the Liberty, the five-time All-Star averaged a career-high 23 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.8 assists as she won this award for the second time and first since 2018.

With the Liberty expected to compete for the title again, Stewart will be right there with Wilson throughout the MVP race. These long odds don't reflect how close that race will likely be, and they could represent a rare value on one of the favorites.

Caitlin Clark WNBA MVP odds

+1200 via DraftKings

Clark is looking to become the first WNBA rookie since Candace Parker in 2008 to be crowned the league's MVP. And she's already the most-bet player to win the award by far after a record-setting collegiate career.

After being the No. 1 pick of the Indiana Fever in the WNBA draft, Clark's MVP resume could be bolstered early if she's able to keep the Fever in the title mix for a significant chunk of the season. While it's never easy to project a rookie's impact, Clark is the most decorated player in college basketball history and has proven to have unlimited range as a shooter.

Clark averaged an absurd 31.6 points this past season for the Iowa Hawkeyes and 5.2 made 3-pointers per game. Her shooting from behind the arc is an X-factor, but what makes her such an interesting fit with the Fever is her passing prowess.

Clark averaged 8.2 assists per game over four seasons with Iowa and joins an Indiana team with scoring talent - Kelsey Mitchell, Nalyssa Smith, and Aliyah Boston combined for 48.2 points per game last season.

That passing ability could open the door to her being a legitimate MVP candidate during her rookie season, which would have Clark well on her way to becoming the WNBA's greatest of all time.
