yea he been really impressive,, luckily lackey has worked out for cards and on the incredibly cheap, not to mention we needed to move craig. he has nasty stuff but was still struggling to get past 5 innings a lot of the time here in stl. appears he maturing as a pitcher and id go as far to say i think he prob the ace of that staff..

Yeah I think that deal is just one of those that both sides win on. St. Louis got a vet on probably the most team friendly deal out there for 2015 and the Sox got a good young power arm which is increasingly difficult to acquire through trade unless we are taking about a prospect that hasnt proven anything yet.

no doubt. the fact martinez has seemingly matured and is pitching much more efficiently really makes it easier to swallow.. that kid is special, if he can continue pitching into the 6th-7th innings and wacha continues to be healthy cards rotation isnt taking a back seat to anyones. although i dont exactly love lackey tonight, lol. ill be all over wacha at hopefully a nice price vs scherzer 2marro..

no disrespect to him. i dont even disagree but wacha opened at +141 and maybe im a bit homerish here (maybe not, i have pretty good history of being a reasonable fan ) but i think wacha on the verge of being one of the best in the gm nobody really talking much about this year, maybe because the injury last year or the retarded way cards didnt use him for 2 weeks then put him out there in the most crucial moment of the nlcs (will never understand that play by matheny)..his peripherals arnt great thus far mostly cause his k-rate has been pretty low (not something id expect to continue), but he has already out-dueled cueto twice and cards have the ability to get max out of the gm and into the pen, a place they love to be against nats as they have owned storen throughout his career.. i dont make a habit of fading max (he is a home town boy after all!) but +141? i already bit for half a unit, cant see line going higher but if it does i will take more (most likely will add a half unit no matter which way it moves). under 1st 5 is prob nails too!

Thinking 'bout Houston +146 or KC -1.5 +133 if run lines are ok.

Still like them, but I'm not sure whether one of them will win 3 games in a row against their opponents. Also I agree that the KC line may not offer the best value. Instead I just locked in an alternative run line in the Baltimore Orioles -1.5 +159 at pinnacle. BOL to you all guys.

i was on nats and under yesterday. already played wacha+141 for 2marro.. i dont trust lackey either and think you probably right, i just didnt have a great feel for this one, cards have generally owned nats outside of gio, and i have a huge card already so it was a pass for me. certainly dont blame you for playing nats tho..

Looked hard at that, but Houston "sweeping" ???? I have been riding them pretty good, but...

them going for the sweep doesnt bother me. i mean sea should have won at least 2 in lad and got swept there. certainly not comparing hou to lad just saying sea has thus far into the season invented ways to lose gms so i dont think it a stretch to see them get swept here. especially considering happ is a bum and despite hou lack of success vs him in limited chances i think are a very good lhp hitting team.. the biggest issue for me is we backing a gascan in fatso carmona/hernandez/whatever he chooses to call himself these days, lol.. second day in a row im backing a gas can as my doggy, that what scares me the most..

i def lean over although i have to revisit ump and weather as seem to have lost track on my notes. also was considering taking the +1.5 into a parlay so def understand the sea by 1 as i could certainly see that. my thinking was at that number and with the better pen, if it close im happy getting this much plus money no matter the outcome..

Houston sweeping will be tough. I don't really like Seattle and their supposed revamped offense, by the way where exactly did they put that offense??? LOL. BOL men. Houston is my team this year.
