    Best value world series bet
Pending 10/6/15 8:05pm Baseball MLB World Series Matchup - Chicago Cubs vs Houston Astros +6300

both teams have the best pitcher in their respective league and a bevy of young talented prospects mixed with veteran leadership (though less on the Astros side admittedly)

What's the true "value" of a prop that isn't going to happen? Zero.

Actually it's worse than 0, it really has negative value since it loses you money.

    Good luck to you nonetheless.

how is it not value? both teams will get to their respective league championship series at the very worst. It's like betting on one of those insane underdogs in a grand slam event in tennis that gets to the semifinals.

biggest number? Pittsburgh Pirates vs New York Yankees is +6500 and I'm not talking about either team at all. You're an idiot.

astros didn't get to the LCS "at the very worst"

cubs got to the LCS but got swept

Fam, it's all good. This was a +6300 bet. It helped you get the wildcard winners as derived picks. Thread was made before the wildcard games. You're welcome.

Thanks but when your prediction is both teams would get to the LCS "at the very worst," it's hard to derive that the right plays were to take those 2 teams to win just their wild card series. Any poster who hypothetically "derives" anything from a post other than face value (no one) would have taken both teams to win their DIVISION SERIES based on your statement.

The new SBR: Don't go by the picks I actually post--derive completely new picks based on unstated inferences!
