OMG. I am in heaven! This is the biggest payday of the season by far with Medina as a DNS day trade starter who left in a tied game and paid out $9620 at 70% return as a 3.5% selection going 5 2/3rds frames with a 3-1 ratio off of $500 risk AFTER the Commish got his share!

No one had him rostered but two bettors in our league. Guys were loading up with DIMES on Morton who had 5 walks against his 6 K's and lost their shirts!

No picks next week. Just rankings. Gotta figure out how to make this money count

Interesting day today. I knew that I had to pick up my winnings in person and also this is the last day of school for my son. I made an executive decision to keep him home today. We met the Commish at Starbucks to get my check. Then we raced off to deposit it into my credit union so it would clear in a few hours. In between then we went to the batting cage and i let him hit 4 rounds off of the machine and then we went to have pizza.

The check cleared and then we were off again to get across town to make a transaction with it; going to speak with the manager first and then the broker. We purchased 21 shares of QQQ stock at $451.55 apiece and I put it in my son's own stock account so I would be sure to make this money count. It's the biggest payday I have received this entire season so it has to be put to good use.

I still had a couple hundred bucks left so you know that I had to buy some top shelf whiskey, some orange bitters and coffee liquor to make Revolvers.

So here I am sipping a revolver over ice! And I am not making any moves other than plug and play with my aces. I won't be making any straights in this format for the rest of this week-just league entries will be listed

Okay now on to brass taxes here are my recommended rankings for today which are fewer in number but most if not all will give you your five frames and more often than not also give you a 3-1 KW ratio. Rodriguez and Gausman are facing one another so you can really capitalize off of one event.

The CRUMBS STREAMER play of the day which I featured is Matt Waldron#8. I now, I know. NEVER trust a knuckle baller. But this guy is feeling it right now and performing like a stud. Plus the Halos make for a high enough floor for him to ride this out

Welp...Gausman and Rodriguez are both still in the event in the top of the 6th! So there's decent return because of the compound..

                  Anyway on to tomorrow

Glasnow, Burnes, Imanaga, Kirby (his matchup is so good), Fried all fall under the category of aces gonna ace.

Pepiot-it's a fantastic matchup and his 4 seamer is legit.

Gil-The Twins are getting better with Royce returning to the lineup, but Gil is on a ridiculous hot streak. Just. Throw.Strikes. I can hear my old travel ball coach saying this as if I didn't understand that it was the objective of pitching...

Luzardo also has a good matchup as y'all already know that the rays haven't been hitting too well this season for whatever reason. Maybe Wander Franco is the missing piece of the puzzle...some Luzardos cherry bomb tendencies are tooed in a poor fastball at times and inconsistent secondaries. Still he is more than capable of getting you your 5 frames.

Seth Lugo has been cookin and you're doing this-even against the Guardians

Jack Flaherty is a stud-it's that simple. He K's guys up

My streamer of the day is Spencer Arrighetti; who is starting to come together with his secondaries. The last piece is a four seamer location in the upper third of the zone which could come through against the Cardinals lineup. Only because it's the Astros; a public team will see his usage rate a little higher than ideal for a big payday.

Also keep an eye out for Athletics Mitch Spence#18 his cutter and slider could make for a quiet 5 + frames against a strikeout happy Sailors lineup. I would expect him to have little support in the market-making for the best bang for your buck ROI. Facing George Kirby gives you the ability to get down on two good arms in the same event and if you look up and see both of the starters in the game at the same time in the 6 inning then you already know your 12 teamer is destined for success.

I found a day trade today which I am actually forced to have to make a move on because of the potential high return.

It's not really how a pitcher goes about his business-it's about how he goes about business vs the team he is facing. I regularly look right away each morning at the arms that are getting the least amount of use and try to see his profile.

While it's true that Christopher Sanchez#12 was whipping out 96 mph fastballs his last game, he has rather pedestrian numbers against the Brews-who are about as hot of a team as there is. One of the key issues with line makers are that sometimes they don't properly give attention to motivation, situation and familiarity, In this case he name branding and public appeal of the Blunts has made for overvalue in this situation.

Colin Rea is one of those guys that i have seen pull of a magic act or two. Put him up against the Blunts and he isn't scared of them at all. His line vs the Blunts is .147 AVG; .147 OBP; .412 SLG; .559 OPS and he is K'ing up 23.5% of the Blunts. that's not enough to make me chase K's but it is more than decent.

As for Sanchez his line vs the Brews is .412 AVG; .444 OBP; .706 SLG; 1.150 OPS. That damage happened quick and in a hurry as those numbers were compiled in just 17 at bats; whereas Rea's numbers were made over 34 at bats by the Blunts-which is a much better serving size to sample.

As of me writing this Rea is on less than 6% of all rosters. Hell he didn't even make my roster-I had to day trade for him this morning and install him at #28 as a DNS. At this rate, by the end of the day right before the event and there is 96% of the money on Sanchez and Rea outduels him for 5-6 innings with a 3-1 K/W line I will be ecstatic. Any time that you can risk $500 and possibly get back 7 grand or more it's a good proposition. No one in their right mind would take this bet except for the sportbooks. This will be my only move made in this format today

Oh wow! The Brews swapped out Rea for Koenig, so my moves were refunded as a result of the pitching change. That was almost too good to be true...so translated this will be a bullpen game for the Brews. I don't have Koenig on my roster so I am gonna have to sit this one out

You may now go back to your regularly scheduled programming already in progress

                            Nola-Aces gonna ace
Gilbert-He's on a path to redemption-I can hear the voice through the breeze-"Find the cutter"
                            Cease-You're still 2 pitch-it won't matter-it's the Halos
Skenes-Aces gonna ace-should be interesting to see how he fares vs Dodgers-turn on the TV and find out
                            Blanco-facing a middling offense-You want this
Rodon-Trust in his four seamer and slider-even if the Twins are better now that Royce has returned
Eflin-He didn't even have a rehab start and is now being thrown to the wolves immediately. I suggest NYY bats vs Paddack (DNS)
Pivetta-the sweeper returned last time out-but oddly enough his cutter was missing-Braves aren't that hot right now either
Hicks-He was fine until his Judge experiment-as long as he has command of one of his secondaries-he soars
Montgomery-He's facing a weak hitting opponent
Urena-He's in use now and much of the steam is gone 52 AB, 11 hits, 13 K's 4 walks, .212 AVG, .268 OBP, .269 SLG, .537 OPS vs Tigers

                            Maeda (Tigers) 65 AB, 21 hits, 14 K's, 9 walks, .323 AVG; .405 OBP; .615 SLG, 1.021 OPS vs Wanderers

                            Stat of the day

Gilbert in 44 AB, a .091 AVG, .130 OBP; .227 SLG; .358 OPS vs Athletics! Wowzers!

Alright when the smoke cleared only Blanco, Hicks and Montgomery went down in flames yesterday and my streamer of the day Urena put in 6 frames with 6 k's and 1 walk which was pleasing. I would have liked for Skenes to go 6 since he gave up two BOMBS yesterday but it is what it is and the return was small as hell for an arm with 8 k's. The Commish made out LARGE on the giants/Snakes game raking in EVERYONE"S money placed on both sides when either arm made it out of the 3rd frame...

Oh well on to today's streamers

Firstly keep Kyle Bradish#3 on roster for tomorrow possibly as he was subbed out for Cade Povich today. I don't have much on Povich.

The CRUMBS streamer of the day will be exactly what the Commish needs today and that's Cal Quantrill of the Rox who has absolutely no support despite having a stupid good splitter. He got blasted his last outing vs the Dodgers-but it's the Dodgers right? Can Quantrill go 5 frames or more vs the Cardinals? Absolutely. they aren't the most formidable lineup to begin with. I am not dumb tho-I have gray as my #1-which will get a microscopic return because..well everyone else has him as #1 today. Go easy on Woo. the Sailors manager inexplicably removed him after 3 frames his last time out and I am not sure if there is an underlying continuance of his injury no one knows about.

i am hoping that both Assad and Greene can get through 5 frames for their teams respectively. If they both get blasted out of the water I would lose stake on both sides-not a good feeling

Interesting bats to replace Lopez and Bradish are the Guardians (in this format Team Total)

Will Brennan (Guardians) he has blasted Singer with 6 for 10; .600 AVG, .636 OBP; .700 SLG, 1.336 OPS
Bo Naylor (Guardians) he has blasted Singer for 4 for 7; .571 AVG; .571 OBP; .857 SLG; 1.429 OPS

And the list goes on and on

Overall Singer is giving up a .358 AVG; .394 OBP; .520 SLG; .914 OPS to the Guardians over 123 at bats with only 19 K's and 7 walks and 4 BOMBS! So the Guardians are going to put the ball in play a lot

                                      Freddy Peralta has a line of 46 at bats, 15 K's, 2 walks; .196 AVG, .229 OBP, .261 SLG, .490 OPS

Giants Webb#7 I already spoke about this one
Astronauts Valdez#8 I already spoke on this and replace him with a bat (Arraez)

The Commish text me this morning and asked if I was gonna go with Medina again because he was rooting for me! Uh duh! He is rooting for himself to rake in a mass amount of money and only have to pay out 1-2 managers again and keep the rest for himself. I told him that I really could use Luis Medina to cut down on his free passes. I have a feeling that no one will put him in use tomorrow and I could get another big payday should he go 5-6 frames with that 3-1 K/W ratio. The Blue Jays aren't as public of a team as the Braves and the piling on probably won't be as big this time but trust and believe that the joes should all be on them

Freddy Peralta has been moved to Friday night for the brews so naturally I am chasing K's with him this evening and updating the big board to do so. Or he may not and be swapped out for Robert Gasser and then moved to Saturday. The Brews are dramatically inconsistent in naming their starters-moreso than any other team. I have to keep him on roster no matter what. He's good, You know it and I know it

Heaney and the Wanderers price hasn't been offered yet. It appears that this will be a bullpen game for the Giants. As a result, in the event that the Wanderers are priced over -145 I will be passing on that move and roll with Heaney in my 12 teamer only.
