I think that as the season goes on i am going to start using my studs individually instead of going with teams. When my studs don't get through the 5th innings what's left on the teams in the bullpen are a collective of money burners

I am using Cease#5, Bassitt#12 in 12 team streamers only. Reluctantly I made a move on Sonny Gray in this format as he had his first rough outing of the year his last start. I expect a rebound against a soft halos lineup

The pick of the day is Reese Olson. Yes he's 0-4 on the season, but he has not given up a home run to date. There's still some tweaks to do with his slider and changeup, but you really need to be rostering him in your 12 teamers.

That winless record has made him available in over 80% of the leagues and it's astounding!

Ok so looking ahead to tomorrow I am definitely going to stash Webb#10 vs the Dodgers and Bradish#7 vs the Jays and Bassitt#1 vs the Orioles. It's something about starters having the start moved back that throws everything off quite a bit. It's a tough thing to sit my #1 (Pablo Lopez) yet it's glaringly obvious that he has 12 K and 11 walks with an ERA of 2.79 and 4 BOMBS surrendered over 68 at bats. I am saying that he is definitely an auto start-just not in this scenario. I will keep him on roster because aces gonna ace.
Keep fading Lance Lynn until he goes away-y'all know how much I dislike his repertoire. I can't believe he's favored other than a peek at his ERA vs Canning's who has moved steadily up my streams. I'm digging his ability to nibble with 4 seamers and get his outs with his secondaries.
Casey Mize#8 will be my streamer of the day. it's the Fish and he has a floor with more upside if his slider can find whiffs!

So I am gonna go with bats a few more times tomorrow for those open roster spots, and chase K's with the rest of my studs.

Cease#5 with 8 K's through 5 2/3rd innings. That's what I'm talking about! My 12 teamer is doing very well with the exception of Sonny Gray who is facing a demotion despite the K's. The 5 earned is a continuance of his bad outing his last performance, and he is giving up BOMBS right now, I may be looking for more bats when his turn comes again. He had a sweet spot for this one against the light hitting Halos...

There is too much talent on the field for pitchers who have issues vs the bats of the other teams. As I pointed out Pablo Lopez#1 has some serious issues handling the Bombers, and Stroman#9 also giving up a horrid .827 OPS to the Twinkies. Adding on

As far as Alec Marsh#15 is concerned he is getting torched by Sailors bats to the tune of a .333 average against and get this a 1.005 OPS. Bryan Woo hasn't faced much of the Royals bats-however he came off the IL and in his first start back he had some forearm tightness; and yet,,, he's starting again. Huh..it feels like he will get pulled early or be limited, I don't know. It feels WEIRD. Whatever.

Hopefully Ranger isn't assigned anything over 7 K's which is my limit. He has only 13 K's in 79 at bats vs the Metropolitans which means that he gets a K approx every 6 Metropolitan batters. Somehow I don't think he will face 54 batters today. Inflation makes fools of us all in this format. I may end up just utilizing Ranger on my 12 teamer and get paid that way providing he gives me my 6 frames and at least a 3-1 K/W ratio

Looking ahead to tomorrow Cristian Javier#7 was HORRID in his last start and not in good form-so I dropped him further down on my roster and I will indeed have to look for a bat. So with that in mind I will probably take the Athletics Team Total and go with Estes#. I've seen worse arms but there's actually a WIN chance here. and might I mention that Hader went 2 innings for the Astronauts yesterday and more than likely won't be available. I have updated the offensive rankings and yes the Athletics are out of the poor cellar and moved up to weak


My streaming pick of the day will be Cooper Criswell. He doesn't go long into games, but he's located well and the Rays aren't threatening in this revenge game for him. may just go with the FF ML with this guy-he won't be around top of the 6th.

As stated I am team Athletics on Thursday. The line started out at Athletics+206 and has since fallen to +185 so I made my move. it looks like Glasnow#1 is going to skip a day so no matter wet keep him rostered on your 12 teamer.

I still haven't fully figured out how I am going to utilize Cooper Criswell in this format-stay tuned

Blast away on your 12 teamer rosters with Joe Ryan#3 and also Clarke Schmidt#5. Do not roll with them in this format. the bats are too hot for both sides-but hey at least you won't have to go searching for bats to replace them.

Also I fully expect my young guns Jared Jones#2 and Justin Steele#4. Justin's command has been a little off since his return off the IL. Let's hope it gets back on track. As for Jones...aces gonna ace. Wait for the weather report out of the Windy City and make sure it's not blowing out before you blast away
