This is my first shot at baseball and I am very excited. If you have a pointers for a serious rookie I would be honored to learn. I need help with one issue:

Listed pitcher vs Action

Can anyone explain please?

Hmm... Let's try this again...

Listed pitchers means the bet is only good if the listed pitchers actually start the game.

Action means it doesn't matter who starts you are taking the bet.

Let me add that if you bet Action and there is a pitching change, your odds will be adjusted to the new opening line with the new pitcher.

Thanks for the distinction LT! You are a big help all over the board I read your hockey and BBall posts to learn those sports.

This is important to my system because I am only taking selected underdogs that are +150 or higher for the same bet all season long. This is a very disciplined strategy that I intend on following to the end as I believe it will come out ahead. So if there is a pitching change and line change the bet may not fit my criteria.

I guess all of my selections will be made with specific pitchers and NOT ACTION.

So far after three days (3/30-4/1) my stats are as follows:

5-9 +4.85 units

5 wins-4 losses for a TOTAL of nine games (WASH has helped a lot)
