Hey guys. I am starting this thread to warn people about the incredibly shady practices of cloudbet in live betting. Those who don’t know any better can really get taken advantage of from this book so I felt the need to put this information out there.
I will focus on hockey to be as direct as possible. As soon as a goal is scored, cloudbet will freeze the odds for a split second. Then, they will bring all odds back and will and continue taking odds on losing wagers. (unders, next goal losers, money line on wrong side, etc) and will continue taking bets until the scoreboard changes. They actually freeze odds on the winning sides, and will continue taking odds on the losing sides. The odds come from a third party but they, or an alternate third party clearly has manual control over keeping the odds up past post after a goal. (sometimes, this can be for a couple minutes especially if they are reviewing a goal.) It will even go beyond that. Say a team is going on a 5 on 3 powerplay where every site out there freezes completely, they will stay up to take odds on the shorthanded team. Say a goalie is pulled earlier than usual? You guessed it, they will stay up to take odds on unders or any bet effected by the early pull.
Don’t believe me? Watch either of today’s nhl games, wait for a goal to be scored, and see for yourself. For the last 3 months minimum, they have done this on EVERY SINGLE GOAL that has been scored. And I welcome everyone to see for yourself.
I happen to watch every single game I’m wagering on and know of their practices so I did not have a wager that was impacted by this. I withdrew all my money once I realized what was going on. That said, they are clearly taking advantage of people not watching the game, or people on delayed feeds. (even the games we watch on live cable are usually 5-10 seconds behind, live streams are obviously even worse)
I have attached a screenshot to prove what I’m talking about. I have a ton of these as I said, it has occurred on every single goal. The score was 4-2 Minnesota. A goal was scored to make it 5-2, and those were the odds they froze before their scoreboard updated to 5-2.
I am sure they do this on more sports than just hockey (especially soccer) but hockey is the sport I followed live the most with them. What they are doing is flat out STEALING on every level and they need to be called out for it.
