Cashapp btc not showing up zero balance
Bought some btc on cashapp like any other time. Card charged for it, transaction on app says complete, but btc balance is zero. Normally it's instant and then I can instantly withdraw it.

    Anyone else ever have this?

Support sent one msg back saying I withdrew the btc and it could take hours to show on blockchain etc...I never withdrew the btc because it never showed up. Now they won't respond to any other messages. Support in Twitter said to keep checking my email.
My security settings are set to require pin/fingerprint to withdraw.

Getting pissed. Been on a major cold streak and wanted to get a bet in before the games start in about an hour

        Wow, that sounds bad.

Do you have any sort of wallet address you can query to see activity on the blockchain?

(never used cashapp as not available here)

Weird. I’ve bought on Cashapp many times, including a few hours ago and have never had any issue like this

Only time I've had that happen, the transaction got reversed on my debit card and for whatever reason didn't go through.

After more than 24 hours and multiple messages to support, the money is back in my app, except that it's cash instead of btc. So now I have to withdraw it to my bank because if I want to buy btc, it won't let me use my balance (would make me do another debit charge). This is also bad because now I have to give them my bank details..didn't need bank for just buying btc, only deb card.

Also fyi, Twitter support answers messages almost instantly so try them first if you have an issue.

Surely you can send the cash elsewhere without giving your bank deposit details?

I think you can instantly withdraw to your debit card, but they charge a fee. Direc Deposi is free, but they want your bank info.

I tested out the instant withdraw. It charged me like $3.06 but it was literally instant. I closed out the cashapp after and opened my bank app and the money was there.

Can we convert btc in the cash app to cash? If so this would be way better than the old bitpay card. Could send it to debit card instantly.

They rolled out that feature around the beginning of the month. Whether it is available on all accounts or certain accounts, I don't know. Tap the person silhouette on the top left, scroll down to "Bitcoin", tap it, and scroll down until you should see buttons along the lines of deposit or withdraw bitcoin or a button asking for verification (which is basically simple KYC).

Going to try testing the sell option later today to see how it works

Pretty much similar to buy. The sell price will be about 1-1.5% less than the market price.

I suspect they will be tough on Anti Money Laundering procedures.

I would not expect to be able to cash out large amounts. I think it will still remain a great place to buy but you may lose both options if not careful with the cash out side.
