BAS says they never received $10k BTC deposit
I have deposited from my trezor to BAS BTC hundreds of times but never experienced a problem until today. They say they never received my BTC even though we confirmed it was the correct address and it shows a confirmed transaction on the blockchain. They say to contact my wallet provider to see if the funds were sent back to my account. I see no evidence the funds were sent back to my Trezor.

when I lookup the BAS provided address, the blockchain says their whole balance was emptied out and sent elsewhere in another transaction 3 blocks later/18 minutes later which is why they are saying they didn’t receive the funds. As someone who is not a complete expert with BTC/ the blockchain, can someone help translate what exactly the blockchain is telling us? Am I allowed to post the transaction/address on here?

Yes you can post the Transaction ID.

I'll copy your post to the Bitcoin Betting sub forum as well and I am sure one the more expert users will be able to help confirming if you are seeing things correctly.

Looks to me like you sent with a very low fee and there still has not been enough confirmations for the receiver system settings.

Might just need to wait a bit longer?

        Anyone? Raiders?

I believe I replaced the transaction RBF beginning with “430” that had a fee of 3 sat/vB with the transaction beginning “969” by increasing its fee to 4 sat/vb. So the “430” would become irrelevant, correct?

I believe I used the correct terminology but not 100% sure

I'm guessing that is why they were able to transfer those funds as confirmed.

And I am also guessing that their system that credits deposits does not understand the RBF tx and is waiting for the original to show as confirmed.

100% out of the air guesses.

Anyone know of that original record will end up showing as confirmed on the blockchain? Or if it will just sit there now as the RBF tx is now being treated as the record?

I have used RBF in the past with BAS with no issues. So their system should have no issue with RBF

It’s been fixed. Turns out the RBF and the fact the old transaction was stuck as pending was the issue. Thanks for your help
