What a profoundly stupid fight that women's fight was. I still think we were justified in taking that value on Julaton at dog odds. Good on Hugo for getting such a good price at +315, I should have stayed away after the line dropped a bit.

No regrets placing a pick on Julaton at those odds; I'd do it again in a heartbeat that was a homerun value play. Unfortunately, she must not have dedicated herself enough to execute or do anything with her grappling and take down efforts.
Got to hand it to Hardy though she was literally doing what her corner was telling her and was truly learning on the job. It worked.
Neither one has a bright future in MMA; clearly doing this for extra money on the side after seeing Holm make the transition.Comment -

I agree. Julaton looked absolutely disgusting on the ground. She did a good job in the clinch but how she managed to give up her back in those spots was ridiculous. I thought she won the 3rd pretty clearly but I'm sure the judges weren't paying attention by then anyway.Comment -

This was the first Bellator event I lost in a long long time.. I guess I was due.. I hit the chick fight by decision, lost Campos and those washed each other out, passed on the McGeary fight, then lost with Big Country fight which ruined me....
I thought maybe Big Country won that fight by decision.. That would have made my night if it cashed but it didn't
..
Wasn't a robbery but should have at worst been scored a draw as that 3rd was probably a 10-8 round for Roy.. One judge had it scored that way.. Round 1 was also close too.. If that 3rd round wasn't a 10-8 I don't what is?.. Ref was warning to stop the fight.. Roy thought the ref might stop it in that crux position when Roy was raining down punch after punch.. Meat head was stuck.. Roy was on top position that entire 3rd round practically as well..
If this landed below this would have changed everything just saying... Oh well..

Thanks for alerting me to the play. I would have felt good about the bet if I jumped on the line at a better price, but settled at +225 and am sort of hitting myself now for settling and not showing discipline. Maybe I am overanalyzing what was ultimately a dogshit fight, but didn't you think the fight was closer than what the judges and commentating crew let on? What exactly did Hardy do other than a few punches and a shitty joke attempt to justify a unanimous decision?Comment -
