That surprises me a little. the first two i think are a joke but i would think someone would give volk the decision. these guys that get the takedown and do nothing but stall seem to get more love than a guy who floors someone. But overall it was a very close fight were i wouldn't call it a robbery either way. Very enjoyable fight. Volk should take a bow . He hasnt fought a wrestler in years and still had that type of a performance.Comment -
That Islam body triangle lock round was tricky to call. Islam did no damage or anything while holding that body lock, tried for the rear naked choke and never came close to locking one in. Volky was throwing back punches and hitting Islam in the face the entire time during that body lock..
I wouldn't have scored that for Islam that's just me. Just because you lock in a body lock and do NOTHING doesn't mean you should win the round on control when you are getting punched in the face the entire time.
I guess Volk could have done more to try and escape that body lock though. What ever....Comment -
