That quick Fedor fury...none of the punches looked like they landed that hard, to send verdrum to the ground.

Anyone else think, he was kind of playing it off that he got struck to bring Fedor down to him on the ground? Thats what it looked like to me. Good quick fight.

Hahaha yes i agree brooks. I didnt have much on the fight, nor a side, only on it to go over 2.5 rounds but I have to say this is prolly the happiest i've felt ever losing money!

i thought he got caught with the uppercut, but on replay looked like nothing got him clean. ive seen him just drop down on his ass before like that.

Ouch. This is why one should never go all in on any bet, in my opinion. Fedor was as close to invincible as anyone can come, but even the best get caught. Sad night for me. I hadn't bet on Fedor but I never wanted to see him lose.

In a GREAT deal of fights, his last fight included, he looks entirely vulnerable whether he's getting taken down, slammed, reversed, hurt by strikes... I've been a fan since I got into the sport because he is so resilient and mortal yet wins too. He got beat by a better fighter and IMO the now #1 HW if Fedor isn't still. I am not that impressed by Carwin and Brock beating Mir, who is not much better than underrated Nelson who outgrappled him.

I think people would be making a big mistake to not take Fedor in the rematch. When you constantly win and are considered the best, I think it is hard to stay motivated. I think this is exactly what Fedor needed to get back into a good camp and get in great fighting shape (not saying he isn't always in great shape, but I think Fedor should train somewhere where he can get good training partners that challenge him).

he's done well in some fights making little or no mistakes and in other fights made mistakes and got away with it for a numberof reasons. this is sports, you always make some mistakes but it depends on how much it costs you. this time he made 3 bad mistakes in a row against a guy you can't make mistakes on the ground and expect him to not put you in danger. he's the best grappler @ HW not named Roger... people underrate Werdum way too much and totally overrate other fighters. I think its 50/50 fight before they fought and for the rematch too.

No one questioned his training 4 days ago, now he made some bad mistakes in 1 fight and lost 1 fight in 10 years he needs to change everything? Look at Frank Mir, he does what a loser does. He really was never top 5.
