I don't even know and I watched it when it happened. It was crazy. The only person fighting at that moment was Mayweather and he was throwing hay makers against a guy who wasn't even looking. The ref had his back to the whole thing too. Only one guy was still paying attention when the KO occurred, and cheapshot mayweather was that one guy.

I don't know what the hell the ref was doing. He stopped it to deduct the point and then decided to stare at someone sitting ringside, while floyd cheapshotted his way to victory. It really sucks that it ended that way.

I am a white male. I used to be ignorant when I was younger and I have said some stupid things in my time, but come on man. This had nothing to do with an entire race. This was Mayweather showing terrible character, however, this had nothing to do with the color of his skin. People are all people. White people do shitty things too, but I don't hate myself when they do them.

wouldn't blame Floyd for that cheap shot. I seen couple times in the fight Ortiz trying to head butt Floyd and only one got caught. I guess Floyd's motto tonight was "an eye for an eye"

It was a cheap shot, but Mayweather didn't cheat in any way. Cortez signaled for the fight to restart and said "go." It's Ortiz's fault for dropping his guard and trying to hug his opponenet in the middle of the fight.

You can hear Cortez say "Let's go" if you listen carefully, then looks away expecting the fighters to resume. While obviously a classy, confident fighter would have let the second apology run its course, when it comes down to it Ortiz is at fault 100% for even trying to apologize again in the first place. Don't know why floyd did it, especially since he is already dominating, most likely he'll just take any opportunity he can to get closer to a win and stay as far away as possible from getting that tick in the L-column. That being said, if Ortiz came out swinging once the ref got them back together after the stoppage, no one would have questioned him or his sportsmanship. He should've been ready, and Mayweather even embraces Ortiz for a few moments (while fight is on) before cracking him. C'mon Victor, how many kisses can you give Floyd Mayweather Jr before you get KO'd? In a sense this fight kind of sums up Mayweather's career as of late-'Damn we all think he's a dickhead for doing that, but he didn't "technically" do anything wrong. ' Anyway, I don't think this should be called a cheapshot, although I can't think of a better word for it..
