Faber is my biggest play and he'll make or break the night. Bowles hasn't looked good in either of his UFC fights. I think Faber is better at everything and the price on him is a great.

I lean Kampmann because he's so technically sound and well rounded. His slow starts are a little worrying but I can't see Story beating Kampmann any other way than cage stalling ala Alves. I think Kampmann's grappling is too good for Story to be able to dictate the fight.

I'm don't really like Silva, I just need that action! lol. The deciding factor for me was simply experience. Silva has been in the cage with the best and Le is relatively inexperienced in MMA. Le throws loads of kicks with straight punches, compared to Silva's mostly wild looping strikes. Le's style looks awkward at times and I'm curious to see how he'll stack up against more relevant fighters. I'll take a wild guess and say I think Wand tags Le with a clean counter hook and drops him for the TKO... but I wouldn't be surprised if Le put the lights out with any solid connection.. I don't think it will be a kick though.

Might go bigger on Hendo.

I don't think I've ever liked so many underdogs in an event.. I'm a little worried

What a night!! Easily the most successful betting night I've ever had. I even hit a +3300 parlay (Hendo, Silva, Faber, Bonner, Bader, Weidman) Only 2 losses, a last minute micro on Silva by decision (+1000?) and .5u on RDS.

Rampage is fighting on the Japan card in a couple months. Definitely see them doing Rampage v. Shogun since they're both coming off a loss....I'm guessing now that either Rashad fights Hendo and the winner takes on Jones after he beats Machida, or maybe Dana will just choose one of the the two, either Hendo or Rashad....Should be interesting.

Draw in my book... I think the judges gave hendo a 10-8 in the third because no one in their right mind doesn't give Rua a 10-8 in the third. Especially because one nut job judge gave Bonnar his fight at 30-25.

I cheer for him not because i think he has any chance of becoming champion, but because i bet on him at + money to beat an older untested fighter

I agree. If you're EVER gonna do it, you have to do it now. The guy is 41, you could say that another year wouldn't be a big difference, but just like any other fighter father time will show up all up a sudden and one day he'll walk into the ring an old man. There is no way to predict it. If that fight is ever going to happen, you have to do it now.

Good point. Wikipedia says the Japan event is February 25th. So it would be close. If not Shogun, i wonder who Rampage will fight? Any idea?

I hope they don't bring that dipshit King Mo over and give him the shot. He doesn't deserve a fight like that yet, imo.

really doesn`t matter(if you didn`t have money on shogun/hendo)...best fight i`ve ever seen.....dana should give em both 100 g`s extra and call the fricking thing a draw and order a rematch as soon as both are able.....

i can`t remember a better fight...imo,blows bonnar/griifin away.....both guys were seriously hurt in this fight and found their way back somehow....it was super-human....

i know that m.f.`er(dana) is kicking himself in the ass that this wasn`t on fox the other night....

Overall I'll str8 up and honest and say I am not thrilled about any of these plays. All of these could very well lose as they are risky fights, I know I am going against many of you guys on these picks.

Yeaaaaaaaaa! Not the best night, would be up about 600 if not for ******* story, should have listened to my buddy or not have gone as heavy.

Would have hit that other small parlay had faber not been such a stud!

For those doubting weidman, i hope everyone realizes this man is the real deal and a stylistic nightmare for just about everyone. Should have paid the juice and taken him str8 up and not just the parlay.

And I've read a lot of people on here think rda got robbed. While it was close, lol at robbery. 29-28 tibau all the way, arguably 30-28.

Hendo / shogun was one of the best fights I've ever seen, hands down. Probably would have been best fight ever had the 5th been more competitive. And wand's comeback.... FUCCCKK YEA! Its moments like this that make me love this sport. PRIDE SON!

I found it hard to justify any 10-8 rounds for Henderson because Shogun came back and inflicted his own damage after being nearly stopped each time. I did watch it on a shitty stream and I was a bit distracted at times so I don't know if I would have it the same a second watch through. Regardless, I had Dan so I was happy with the outcome.
