*I really rate these teams as closer than the -6 (pregame).
*Looks like Buffalo is determined and ready to play.

Note for Ark/Kan game:
Arkansas is down to 48 scholarship players for Wednesday's game against Kansas in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl due to NFL Draft opt outs, injuries and of course the NCAA Transfer Portal. That is roughly 25 fewer scholarship players than they would normally have for a bowl game. Kansas on the other hand is as full as probably any team in the country with only six players entering the transfer portal and no NFL Draft opt outs.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

Here's my analysis on the two plays:
*I keep hearing about Kansas being excited to be in a bowl after being down. If Okla St QB Sanders had played in the KS game, Jayhawks might not have become bowl-eligible.
Feel like there's a gulf in class here. Line has pipped down w/ the ARK opt-outs. Reduced roster, but most of those are reserves looking for playing time elsewhere.

*SYRA: I feel better buying a few points. For me, it's worth it to get above 11 in a game where neither offense figures to be too explosive.
I think the Gophers are valued out. Orangemen play in home state and should get good backing in New York City.
Looks like Dog value to me. Hoping the Orange can revert to their early-season form.
...I've made a few conference references in these posts. Two conference opinions that I expect to play out (but may not have just yet):
*SEC: good. Very good. Think this will become obvious by end of the bowl season.
*ACC: weak. Think it was a down year in the ACC. Clemson was not nearly as good as they normally are.

Jefferson is a LB playing Qb and a LB playing RB when he runs. If he decides to run a lot, it may keep them in the game. You can want to stop it all you want, but that dude is big and can run. How many starters out for Arkansas then compared to Kansas? This is when the real madness will start. The big schools and the opt-out carnival. Lots of coin can be made if you pay attention now.

I had Duke and the over in this one. Will lose the juice (EDIT: UCF is still in this one but the over looks dead...hope I don't lose both). Had Wisc and under last night. Capping Kan/Ark now. heh, I don't think ARK is missing too many starters. Maybe a couple receivers. The ARK post I made (post 89) is from a guy who follows the Razorbacks. Looks like the Hogs will have most name players. The opt-outs will have more impact on the depth.
I like Jefferson. He has some great hi-lites from the BYU game.

I can only suggest even for thyself to try to check twitter (twatter) to find someone on the broadcast crew that will post this in real-time. Key note: Kansas out of conference games this year: Houston and Duke. I've been riding Michigan all year because they played 3 MAC teams non-conference. Obviously, beating OSU in the Horseshoe is big though. So, Kansas's toughest out of conference game was Duke. Perhaps, why they're getting their sh*t handed to them today too. Doesn't mean everything though........
