I know he's a WR but on that last play he missed a guy wide open right to his left easy 2 pointer. He might have had to throw across his body a little bit and/or stop and throw, but it was there.

What did you have? The line dropped before the game all the way to -1.5. Did you have kns outright?

Thx. Let's admit it was pure luck. I still think his elbow was down and if it was I might not win either bet. It took a miracle to hit that over.

No-no-no. The 2h play was actually a great bet, deserved to hit.

I was scouting it out, was willing to lay -3. Didn't like the -3.5.

Reason I say that was a great bet has to do w/ the personnel. ARK roster was short, add in some opt-outs. Knew Kansas could score, just didn't count on the Onside kick recovery.

Wish I knew Bo Nix health status better. To me, that's the whole game.

Go back to late in the season. Game b4 Utah, Nix took a heavy hit. Story leaked that he wasn't practicing:
1) He played the Utah game on guts. It was something to see. They amazingly beat Utah, even w/ Nix immobile.
2) Oregon builds big lead vs Oreg St. Nix is limited, Beavers rally to win.
3) Even w/ long layoff, Nix can't run tonite. Zero rush yards for a guy that usually gets 50 rush yards per game.

So much easier to defend a guy when the defense knows the dual threat isn't real.

Yeah. I had -2.5 2H. Paid juice. If Arkansas gets stopped on 3rd down then they maybe kick the FG and it loses. Or, a running TD while running out clock. Then, the fumble happened.

This game TT and Ole Miss should be re-named the 4th down bowl! Lol! I thought the Baylor coach loved that but you aint seen nothin' until you've seen this game. Both coaches doing it, but the Ole Miss from their own 10 yard line needing I think 3 yards? Down in the game but not by much at the time maybe it was tied. I don't know. Did they do this all year too? If its just a bowl thing last game let's have fun I get it..

heh, I don't think so. Only angle I can think of is that Kiffin may have lost his mind.

There was a heavy link on Kiffin going to Auburn. Sounds like Freeze beat him to the punch.

I don't know any inside dirt. But I'm not sure Kiffin will be back at Ole Miss next year.

It is crazy how the end-game played out. KS really was close to being dead.

This game (before-hand) had a Arkansas/Kansas type feel to me (with point spread). I bought major juice and took Minny -7 but won 4 hunge. I won't be doing that the rest of the bowls maybe 1 more time twice max. I knew Minny would win and the 7 felt the best to me. I thought they could hammer Cuse too, but I didn't like taking the points in that one at all.

As far as this Oklahoma game, I'm sitting that one out. I was leaning Florida State but passed. Oklahoma tons of players sitting out, but they might have decent depth with the bench. No thanks on that one. After the close call in the Minny game......

In fact, Syracuse out-played them 2nd half but turned the ball over and gave up that kick return along with a pick 6. Otherwise, the Cuse moved the ball in that game and weren't all that bad.

I almost bet a same game parlay with Minny-6.5 and Jackson WR Minny over 40 yards receiving but passed on that. I thought that Minny Freshman QB looked good. Downgrade when Morgan came in IMMHO.

OhioSt/Georgia preview:

*Why I think OhioSt is the right side. Played +6.5. Think +6 is still plenty good:

1) Georgia's win over Oregon doesn't look so good anymore.
...Remember when Oregon was rolling thru the middle of the Pac-12 schedule? Looked like they were a candidate to finish top4 and make the playoff. Ducks finished with a whimper, looked ordinary. The 49-3 win doesn't look so impressive now.

2) Georgia's schedule was lighter than normal.
...I say that for a few reasons. Florida is in transition. They're just not the same program they were. Win over Gators = walkover. Can't give the Dawgs much credit for that win.
...In a normal year, Georgia would have to go thru Alabama at least once. Tide weren't on the Reg Season slate. Tide were down a tick this year. LSU's upset over Alab cleared the way for Georgia. SEC Champ game vs a young LSU team.

3) Georgia not that explosive.
...They haven't been hitting the big plays late in the season. Not what you'd expect from a #1 team.

4) Georgia's defense down a notch from 2021.
...Look at all the talent that Georgia's defense put into the NFL last year. I couldn't believe how strong GEORGIA's defense looked early in the year. As the season played out, their defensive numbers were in fact down a notch. The 2021 GEO defense was historic.

5) Too many squares on Georgia.
...Listen to the Talking Heads. They are very comfortable backing Georgia in this game. In fact, I'm hearing talk of Georgia OVER-THROWING Alabama as "king of the jungle." I think that's premature. See point 2 about Georgia coming thru less than a gauntlet schedule.

The pro talent on the field should neutralize each other. A lot of game-planning. Looking forward to an even game, I think the points will feel generous as it plays out.

*Not sure there are going to be A LOT more pts scored in this game. Pts could play.
*Don't agree w/ the pre-game move to -3. Key absence = OhioU QB.
*Wyom running the ball pretty well in 1h. Some RBs out, but the replacements are doing well so far.

Right about the low-scoring. However, WYOM appears to be stuck on zero.

Not Dame had the early opt-outs. A little lucky that South Carolina had some late opt-outs.
