Keep in mind that drafting an injured player in the final round can be beneficial - stash him on your DL, and the pick up another player from the FA pool. (Under the assumption that your league allows DL slots not to count against your active roster)

Yes, 1000 times yes.
I got Brian McCann in the 15th round, he'll be back May 1.
If he was 100 percent, McCann is snatched in round 7.

I'll start AJ behind the dish for a month, trade him in June (maybe) for value.

With Tex and Grandy going down, this has to affect Cano's value. Already without A-rod (the dbag is old, but still can hit when healthy and protect a lineup), this Yankee lineup is looking weak. Cano is widely being regarded as the #4 player on the board - wondering if he possibly slips a bit to 5/6 now that his runs/RBIs may take a slight hit.

Mark Teixeira was diagnosed with a strained right wrist and will miss 8-10 weeks.
Ouch. Yankees manager Joe Girardi said that Teixeira will be shut down completely for four weeks before rehabbing the wrist. The estimated timetable places his return somewhere in early-to-late May. The Yankees' current in-house alternatives for first base include Juan Rivera, Dan Johnson and Kevin Youkilis. Mar 6 - 4:27 PM

Jeter was diagnosed with a Grade 1 right calf strain last week.

From what I've heard, he is riding the bike but not running as of yet.

His return is very much up in the air at this point.
