It was a combination of both. Indian owner has never played ball before. Doesn't really know much about it, but wants to implement things like playing 4 on 5, which is completely retarded. Malone was always at odds with him, and really pissed him off when he said publically that he didn't want the team to sign Josh Smith.

If I was a legit coach in the NBA, I wouldn't take this job no matter how much you paid me. Imagine working for Jerry Jones if Jerry Jones was overly fond of running the wishbone and wanted to sign Terrell Owens right now.

Well what do you expect when you have an Owner who believes in the skillset of a one Josh Smith....You know..many people complained about the Maloofs and how they chose to run the team...but I think this new Indian fella will give them a run for their money.
