#212I’m sure that’s the plan, it’s a money grab over 11 years later. I’m to believe a 6’3” 210 lbs hockey player, who averaged 200 penalty minutes a year couldn’t fight off a 5’5” 140 lbs video coach not using a gun or knife? Not to be crude but wouldn’t hockey player had difficulty getting hard if bj was forced on him as claimed?Comment -
#213Pesce scores 3rd period pp goal in 2-1 win over Coyotes, keeping Hurricanes undefeated after first 8 games of their season. I think the record fot win streak out of the gates may be the '93 Leafs with 10, but not 100% sure about that.Comment -
#214Perhaps Chicago Blackhawks center Kirby Dach put it best on Monday when illustrating how important it was to have star forward Patrick Kane back with the team.
"It's just good to have him back in the locker room," he said, "and on the ice."
Especially the latter.
Kane, removed from the NHL's COVID-19 protocol list earlier in the day, scored three goals, helping the beleaguered Blackhawks to their elusive first win, a 5-1 decision over the Ottawa Senators.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#215That's Kane making up for lost playing time.
Too bad he couldn't play in that 1-0 loss to St Louis on the weekend.Comment -

#219No, maybe not much to add to a he said/he said case. 5'5" 140 lb guy giving bj claims it was consensual, 6'3" 210 lb physical hockey player who got aroused claims rape. Does seem odd no response by bettman when people are out of hockey because video coach lost their job 3 weeks after said act. Bettman should handle this personally now since it's been over a week this all came out. Did Beach file a police report after incident? I still haven't seen anything why Q should have been forced to resign from Panthers.Last edited by BarkingToad; 11-03-21, 08:02 AM.Comment -

Power.
Who had the power, and how that power was used and misused is central to everything pertaining to the alleged sexual assault of former Chicago Blackhawks prospect Kyle Beach, and to the cover-up, excuse-making and generally shameful behavior that has followed.
And how NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, through his meeting with media Monday, continues to show that power doesn't care about those who don't have it.
Like the power then-Blackhawks video coach Brad Aldrich had in 2010 when he allegedly sexually assaulted Beach, reportedly coercing him in a manner familiar to so many abusers: Do as I say or I will hurt you.
In Aldrich's case, it was allegedly threatening Beach's career. Do this, or I'll make sure you never make it to the highest level of professional hockey. Lie and say that you enjoyed it and I can help make your lifelong dream come true.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#229Laine expected to be out 4-6 weeks for Blue Jackets with oblique strain
Forward sustained injury in third period against Avalanche on Wednesday
NHL.com @NHLdotcom
Patrik Laine is expected to be out 4-6 weeks for the Columbus Blue Jackets because of an oblique strain.
"We're losing a pretty important guy," coach Brad Larsen said Friday. "It's just part of the game."
The forward, who was placed on injured reserve Friday, did not play the final 7:57 of the third period and overtime of the Blue Jackets' 5-4 win at the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday following a collision with Avalanche defenseman Bowen Byram.
"I don't think he realized it when it happened," Larsen said. "I thought he was cramping. I didn't think it was worse than that."
Laine, who had two assists prior to leaving the game Wednesday, is second on the Blue Jackets with 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in nine games.
The Blue Jackets (6-3-0) host the Avalanche on Saturday (7 p.m. ET; BSOH, ALT, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
"You look around the League, this is happening everywhere, whether it's sickness or injury," Larsen said. "In 82 games this is going to happen whether it's sooner or later, so there's some good minutes someone is going to get an opportunity and somebody's going to have to fill it.
"There's guys champing at the bit to do something in that spot."

#230Marcus Johansson and Colin Blackwell skated with the Kraken at practice, participating in drills in full. The only player missing was Jared McCann, on the COVID-19 protocol list since Sunday.
Blackwell has been inching back from a lower-body injury for more than a month. He was surprise absence at the start of training camp in September, and his status was called dubbed day to day by coach Dave Hakstol.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#233Happy to get a winner with Edmonton tonight I thought it was going to be a loser when they got down 4-1 but they battled back and took advantage of the power play again. Now I just need Vancouver to at least make my -1 wager a push and come back here to have a winning night on the ice.Comment -

let us see when Eichel is ready to go
I do not like it for Vegas because Eichel was unwilling to do the surgery when he needed it so now who knows when he will even play, or if he will be healthy[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual
