The sports with the most vig would be probably be easiest to pick. But the extra vig makes them harder to beat the odds.

IMO The easiest sport to beat is spot betting underdogs in MLB.
A full MLB season is 4860 games.
The books aren't flawless, with all that activity the books hang a few soft lines a week.
If one does their homework one can exploit those soft lines, but it's a grind and a lot of math work.

There are only 17 games a week (max) in the NFL.
The books pretty much have every angle on every game figured, not so in MLB.

This holds very true for MLB but also for horse racing. Probably some others as well. The problem is, the amount of time it takes to gain the knowledge, then apply the knowledge, and follow it daily is an overwhelming amount of time in most peoples cases. So unless you are putting in serious time, you should scale your bet amounts to the amount of time you DO put into a sport. If it's less than one hour a day, that requires bet sizes that reflect such. It's math everywhere you look when it comes to gambling. Make sure your bets are affordable disposable, recreational size and you can enjoy it without getting hurt.
Keep score of your loses from season to season for each sport you play into. You will find things you did not realize, but that is a bit more math.

If you know a team better than they do. Can't see an entire sport.
