They're good at collecting data, but not at analyzing data. You're better off creating your own super situations.
They did attract some good cappers on their forum for a while, but statfox messed things up and most left their HOF. I think they're having a hard time keeping up with the times, or are too stuck to their data templates. Where SBR is an example of a very dynamic approach, statfox is very stagnant. Comparing it to stocks, SBR may have gone from 10 to 100 and statfox from 30 to 5 in the last five years. They were probably hurt by their decision not to advertise sportsbooks (after the new internet legislation). If I were them I would increase the number of magazine publications, such as for the NCAAF bowls, March Madness, etc. There's a gambling market for quick up-to-date magazines with a short shelf life (think major golf tournaments, tennis grand slams, Triple Crown races, etc) that they could corner. Download only would work.
You mean you don't put much credence in how teams do on a Wednesday when favored by between -125 and -150 and coming off of a win while playing on grass vs. a pitcher with an ERA between 4.50 and 6.00 when the total is between 8 and 9.5?

lol
I feel for them, because they could have evolved (but did not).
I've never used them. Even thought they have a slick site, I've just felt that using the the service of anyone whose business model is essentially based on the utilization of angles is doomed to failure.
It's my first season handicapping baseball and i find that their power ratings have been helpful. I don't really look at their super situations to much. I look at the overall stars (super sit., power matchups, situational). Then how the team has done previous 7 days ( w/l, bullpen, batting, etc....). Then i look at starting pitcher vs team. I also use covers matchups.
