Proline is a bust.. but if youre going to play ties on proline, you have got to play 3 ties to a ticket, thats the only way to make it worth it..... pick 4 ties and rotate em....

games A,B,C,D

ABC
ABD
BCD
ACD

etc,,

payout is way more with 3 ties than with 2 and a "Sure thing"

the only thing is, you have to buy those type of tickets very early in the day, or it with be LLE as OLG calls it (liability limited exceeded) - too many people have bought that shit basically...

I've seen guys nail 4 ties before, its a nice payout, but its a longshot..

It's Sportsaction over here in BC and it's not quite as bad. It's only a tie if it goes to a shootout, if you win in OT it counts as a legit win. Shits still tough as fcuk to hit. I usually just throw $5 on a hero parlay that pays like $800 for entertainment purposes only

If I'm actually attempting to win I'll bet $20-$50 on two teamer props or total cards. The good thing is that every NHL total is always 5.5 on there so when there's a bunch of 5s for online betting you have quite an edge.

you are better off doing the "pools" and boxing 4 games and spending $80 to win $15K to $500K. Just my honest opinion.

Or get a few pal's together, and each of you invest $80 and box different games..

for my American friends, when I say "box" the game, it means it allows you to play both sides....so you can box up to 4 games out of a NHL card, and if you get the straight winners right (usually need to go perfect to win) you split the prize pool with the other people (if there are any) that also had the pools picked correctly.

4 ties on proline ?? come on.... im not saying its not possible but how many nights a year do we see 4 games going into overtime and all 4 of them ending in a SO ?? 2, 3, 4 times a year ..... i used to play 3 ties tickets whenever there was 8 or more games on board untill 2 times i missed the proline ticket because 1 of the 3 games ended in OT and not SO .... proline is a rip off

$15k to $500k ? hockey pools never go over 100k .. they r usually between around 60k on average, the only pools that r $500k in ontario r american football...

Its late in the year, but we have had a few here in ontario get close to half a mil.
But you are right, the big ones are for NFL football....... but still, $80 for $60K is still a better than solid return.

i agree with u that pools are better play than 3 or 4 ties on proline ticket, but about the amount .... between nov 20 and today there was only 1 hockey pool that went over 100k and it was only 108..... http://proline.olg.ca/propicksCards.do

We don't even have NBA man. Haven't since the Raptors came to town. Proline can honestly lick a fat nut. When they go online next year they better nix the mandatory 3 play parlay. It IS good sometimes to play dogs in NFL on the spread cuz they don't change on p-line lol. I've seen a 5 point dog on Proline go to a Pick'em or even favourite online and I always run to the proline counter to cash on those lol. They are going to have to make serious changes to keep up with online books.

Oh ya the only time ive made consistent winnings on proine is during football. toss on 3 heavy favs and 2 upsets bam! i hit 4/6 tickets in last 5 weeks. Earning over 300$. Now with football not looking to good ill probably give baseball a shot as long as proline doesnt skip out on that too
