I don't post much but I had an issue earlier today that I need people's opinion on because I think the book maybe in the wrong here. I played a pick 6 at saratoga earlier today and I hit 5 out 6 winners. In the Race I missed I played 2 horses and they both were literally late scratches in the race. My account ALWAYS has a all scratch refund meaning any scratches get credited to my account. Well book says the 5 out 6 is consolation payout and I can't get credited for any scratches? To me the 5 out 6 payout and scratches have nothing to do with each other? Thoughts?

#2I'm surprised the Racebook, if it is a racebook versus a sportsbook, did not play it toward expectation. THat said I know that some of the SPORTSbooks are terrible when it comes to playing P6 and other high payoff wagers. You have to read the fine print so to speak... I had a problem back in the 90's with similar issue and it turned out they had 'payout limitations' so I was partially screwed. I feel for you as you're right to expect the payoff but again some of these books throw in these loophole rules so that they don't have to pay out to winner.Comment -
#3Use Twinspires or a pari-mutual ADV if you are a pick 6 player.Comment -

#5think he is betting offshore to get track odds, not into the main betting poolsLast edited by nyplayer33; 09-05-13, 05:15 AM.Comment -
#6if book goes by track rules. in pick 4 pick 6 And grand slam wagers, in event of late scratch. you receive post time favorite no refunds or alternate selections

so if his scratches were in same race then he would have the fave twice in that leg so it would pay 5 of 6 x2 if that was the leg he missedComment -
#7blg - the simple answer you are looking for is NO.Comment -
#8Always use track sites such as tvg. 4nhbets. And pick 6 that goes directly into racetrack pools.....there is always a max payout. .new York it would go to post time fav. Stay with the real track.Comment -
#9Yes if you decide like to throw free money away and not get rebates go with tvg or expressbet.Comment -
#10I would never play a pk6 with a book, they have capps on payouts. Keep your money in the track poolsComment -
