We used to go to Monmouth for a day at the races and then hit AC for some blackjack.
Ah, the good old days.
Joe Rocco was a regular jockey at Monmouth, the most crooked jockey I've ever seen.
He literally choked a horse I bet on down the stretch to blow a six-length lead.
After the race my buddy and I from the rail screamed at Rocco, we called him everything in the book.
Rocco heard us, he shot me a death look.
I loved our day at the races at Monmouth Park even though that track is 'screwed on crooked'
At least we had free grandstand parking. I love that park.
