saw the pools and he is right around that..burnham square was flying at the end of that churchill msw route yesterday


#9 curlin (15-1 sunday morning)

one of my futures (journalism) and baffert has one (getaway car) that had imo a nice 2yo season..add in a pletcher (uncaged) who broke his maiden first out at saratoga
but hasn't been seen since ..maybe a slight issue and they're going to wait on him ..

my feeling is you can have a contender start as a late 2 early 3yo and have a shot .. with a sire of curlin's stature something very talented could pop up and there could be another contender or two (maybe even three) along the way

yes so you'll have a solid contender with sovereignty going into the final leg ..good to know about BS and possible they might go forward with her to the florida derby considering what you said ..definitely feel caldera's the better shot if anybody played a liam's map sire bet

yes he's impressive in all aspects..fastest route beyer (by a lot I believe)of those that'll be running,cost a fortune, tremendous pedigree (goes along with expensive) ..if he wins or runs big in the santa anita derby (assuming that'll be next) could be the favorite or possibly around 5-1 in the ky derby

Pool 5 is up.... along with the oaks. a few things :
Caldera 10-1? as of this post.... well it's because of all the "my race horse" people.... I'll stick with my sire bet.
Journalism 7-1 ... If I can't win I hope you get that 51-1 jbex! you have to feel good when you are in these spots.
I got lucky with I'll have another and California chrome..

Poster 99-1 bet him earlier may just add on...

sandman 18-1 got him at 59-1( rather have Journalism lol)

sovereignty 9-1.. opened 5-1 got him at 21-1 ....let her ride!

this an uncle mo / tapit (kingsbarns) sire ,dam sire combo..i think the gotham effort was excellent considering he just broke his maiden in debut at tampa last race ..probably shooting for the wood memorial and should relish the extra distance ..with that pedigree things can move forward fast ..wouldn't be surprised with a win or very good effort next out .. at those odds I think very worthwhile shot

266-1 .. to me he's 40-1 to 50-1 range because I weigh the pedigree much heavier .. fairer public price 60-1..possible they'll choose a different race but I think he'll run again in ny ..be interesting to see what happens a few weeks from now
