not committing but I think #5 dimatic (20-1)a little interesting .. 2 back being on the lead not his game and bump start last out..plenty of nice fits for this race last year including his last 2 at this track w/o blinkers were nice efforts ..and you know I like big pedigrees on young horses..gun runner/tapit dam sire homebred can always move forward

You will get a square price. I can't back him on paper but that is why this is a great game.

should be plenty of pace which will benefit both of ours ..if I see another spot or two will post it here..usually only like 3 or 4 tops on these big day cards..best of luck and enjoy your get-together !

Yeah agree Pigpen the different ways players handicap helps make it a great game. what works for you might not for me and vice versa. But always fun to see other's protocols. Good luck.

Hey JB, Arkoma is a tiny town on the Arky/Okla border about 15 miles from here. I have a rooting interest in this one.

#2 first division (20-1)

like the consistency..break maiden from 11 post first out..stretch out run a close 3rd with a follow up 2nd by a head (3 career starts) ..kind of horse might step to the plate with a class rise ..going a little further doesn't hurt with a distance and mud capable pedigree ..should set up nice with a lot speed in here ..not a bad horse to put in 3rd and 4th with 3 6 8 9 (top 4)

I have a buddy that has Sandman @ 16-1 in the futures so I will most likely be rooting for him and Journalism (JBX's 52-1 ticket) hoping one if these guys have a nice score.

I am under the impression JBEX did not bet Journalism with real coins. His position is for pride only. Still would be a nice hit nonetheless.

I rarely bet and i never mind reinforcing every once in a while (like here).. have said it many times over the years .. I handicap and if someone follows and hits happy for them .. feel I have good instincts with these types of wagers but regular day to day stuff average at best

hopefully..journalism is by curlin (12-1) and recommended him also in the sire bets along with liam's map (99-1)..just those two at the time .. latter still alive with caldera and burnham square and I think both will be in the bluegrass
