    Secretariat the movie
I was so disappointed with this movie and it really hurt because I experienced most of it.
Secretariat broke his maiden in his second start at Aqueduct with Paul Feliciano. I have the program.
The movie has it at Saratoga with Turcotte.
They had the Belmont Stakes at some track with no turf course and the riders in most of the races are standing up in the irons to make it really look phony.
I saw Seabiscuit and thought they did an amazing job.

With a great cast and good budget, they really demolished this movie treating viewers like morons.
    Just an opinion.

ya, they said that a lot. that a bunch of the facts were twisted... but overall, I thought it was a pretty good movie. Also love it that they use Keeneland for Belmont. I grew up in Lexington, so Im biased, but I love it that the movie makers always go with the Keeneland setting.
I dug the movie. Not sure why they would even mess up facts. seems silly.

It was a feel good Disney movie.

Many story lines were changed along the way.

It was tough to watch if you know the real story.

I love when the fan was screaming at Turcotte when he lost the Wood, said he lost a lot of money on him.... complete joke since secretariat's entrymate won the Wood

They also made it seem like the Wood was his first start as a 3-year-old, when in reality, he had already won the Bay Shore and Gotham leading into the Wood.

It was horrible. It was a story with subject matter that could have stood on it's on merits but it was a Disney movie so there had to be good/evil and hero/villain besides the obvious factual errors.

The movie also made it seem like Sham won the Wood. They showed the owner celebrating after the race.
