Trying to find info if there are hole-in-ones at the PGA tournaments week-by-week, but just couldnt find. Anyone can reference an easy way to check? Thx

Historically, (and i'm talking way back in the 1980s), the hole-in-one rate at PGA tournaments in Europe and the USA was around 48.5% per tournament. That meant betting a hole-in-one should have been statistically a true odds +106 proposition. Obviously some courses were less likely than others. It was the angle that made John Carter and his friend Paul the most successful angle-shooters in British gambling history.
I don't know how the game has changed statistically but golfers have gotten better and courses are now more hole-in-one friendly because it's an instant good publicity media pop. I would guess the hole-in-one rate is closer to 60% than 50%. It may even be over 60%.Comment -

Scoreboard apps or pgatour.com cant find anywhere thats says like an alert or something.
Even once event concluded, no way of knowing if there was one sank in a tourney game.Comment -
I'm not on social media and I don't often watch golf so i'm not the person to ask for that. I'm sure there is something out there as an ap for golf enthusiasts. The US and European PGAs have websites for career holes-in-one and season stats. However, knowing there were 36 hole-in-one in both 2019 and 2000 on the US tour doesn't really mean much unless you know which events are included, which are not, and who/how many golfers took part. I only know about holes-in-one because I used to work with John Carter back in the day.Comment
