ATLANTA Motor Speedway (All 3 series)--
Alright guys we are heading to Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend for racing in all 3 series! Should be more great racing and hopefully we rebound off Bristol and our one bad showing for the season so far.
***SATURDAY WILL BE A DOUBLE HEADER***. The truck series will kick off the weekend early Saturday afternoon at 1pm on FS1..Then after that we will get the Xfinity cars on track for a 4:30pm start on FOX main channel. Then we will finish up with the big Cup series race at 3:30pm on Sunday afternoon on FOX. And (thank God) we will have no practices or qualifying. Racing been way better without it.
ATLANTA is a 1.5 quad oval racetrack with banking of 24 degrees in all 4 corners. And keep in mind this is the oldest racing surface on the circuit. Much like Darlington this track eats up tires ect it's way worse here. They will need 4 tires every yellow. But that's a good thing as the drivers made sure Nascar hasn't paved this track as it has tried to do for years. Anyways should be a good weekend.
