Can Philly (-11.5) continue with the Charlotte poundings?

I cashed on Chicago (31 pt win, w/out Rose even), L.A. (25 pt win), Portland (34 pt win) and of course lost when they played Celtics in Boston. (I don't know whey Boston couldn't cover 14 points at home). I'm liking good teams with good defense and scoring to pummel this Cat til it's dead. I mean at least 20 -30 pts dead to feel safe while watching.

After Philly tomorrow at home then it's a few days against some mediocre teams. If road team Clippers can give the Bobcats a drubbing like rest I'd hope that Sixers could too, since they also have better defense than L.A.

First of a long Philly road trip with Charlotte the first stop. Usually you really want to start out on the right foot on the road and give a good beating with first game. I just hope they don't unload the whole bench and the scoring dries up.

Gerald Henderson and D.J. Augustin are both out still for Charlotte. Charlotte been gettin clocked by an average of 20 points a game by decent to good teams. I thoght Chicago game at (-13) was easy money, but knowing Rose would not play I still sweated it a little the day I placed wager.

Unloaded tonight then on Philly -11.5 and hope the beatings continue against the poor team. Anyway else think it's the play of the day?

I like Under this game at 176, plus I like Clipps at Dallas gettin 4 pts.

May the Force Be With You.

There is absolutely no reason to think Philly will play shit or will not play as hard...at the same time there is also no reason to believe the Bobcats will suddenly come out much stronger than their past few games and be able to keep this within 10-11 pts. Which is why its so hard not to go big on Philly here. With this spread, anything is possible but I strongly feel that until the Bobcats give us a reason not to fade them against solid teams, it's good value. Like u mentioned, several other teams have blown them out with 10, 20, 30+ pts so putting money on a solid 76ers beating them by 12 is not a stretch at all and a good play.

I'm gonna go huge on this play but split it between 1H and the full time just incase the bench gets unleashed late and backdoor cover possibility opens up late. And also gonna throw something on Bobcats TT Under no matter what the number is.

I'm going big on Philly tonight too. Until the Bobcats can prove themselves, bet against them.

    J. Crawford will ref this game. Home teams are an astonishing 5-14 ATS with him.

Just throwing in my 2cents, bobcats have covered about 50/50 as double digit underdogs in the last month and a half or 2 months.

Double Digit Spreads Since Jan 17th (Bobcats)

    Jan 17 @ Orlando Magic 12 193 Lost 89 - 96 Win / Under
    Jan 21 @ Chicago Bulls 12.5 184 Lost 89 - 95 Win / Push
    Jan 27 @ Philadelphia 76ers 16 182 Lost 72 - 89 Loss / Under
    Jan 31 @ Los Angeles Lakers 13 180 Lost 73 - 106 Loss / Under
    Feb 1 @ Portland Trail Blazers 15.5 183 Lost 68 - 112 Loss / Under
    Feb 4 @ Phoenix Suns 10 188 Lost 89 - 95 Win / Under
    Feb 7 @ Boston Celtics 14 176 Lost 84 - 94 Win / Over
    Feb 10 Chicago Bulls 12.5 180 Lost 64 - 95 Loss / Under

    4 wins / 4 losses

I'm not on them yet.. but thinking about pulling the trigger. I hate these kinds of bets on terrible teams trying to cover a large spread, but I also saw that the ref assignment is in the favor of the hometeam. I'll try and find the source for this.. if anybody has any supporting info for any side, please post so I can see if this bet has value, or if i'm being a bonehead. bol.

Out of all the top 20 teams in the NCAA right now, I bet 15 of them could beat the Bobcats right now with Auggy and Henderson banged up

I did this earlier in the NFL season when every team played the Colts I just took the other team because the Colts were that bad. Charlotte is looking worse with each game and the fans were cheering Blake Griffin last game when they were having themselves a dunkfest on the Bobcats. Sixers will rest their starters but we just need a strong play early to set the tone and get up. Good luck all.

Line moved to -12.5 at my book now. I think this train keeps rolling until Charlotte is getting 16+ points, like the Cavs in past, then switch sides. But just don't want Philly to ease up on the throttle!
