the spread is how many points a team has to cover inorder for your bet to win. if a team is giving 6 points (-6) they have to win by atleast 6 for you to win. in a team is getting 6 points (+6) that means they have to lose by 6 or less for you to win. ml is straight up, whos gonna win or whose gonna lose
