I'm not the best golf capper but I absolutely love watching the action for 4 days... My golf guy is straight nails he studies this shit day and night and I throw in my picks here and there..

I like Evansville for the game but I love Wichita for the first half. Evansville has a tough time getting out of the gate. Look at playing Evansville 2H too. Gonna give the golf a try!

Love Danny manning from what he built at Tulsa and what he's already done at wake. I thought about this game for a while and just decided I didn't wanna play the deacons against the blue devils in this spot. Wake is in the midst of a brutal stretch.

They battled xavier, beat lsu, and off a loss to Louisville in which they really faught hard 3 days ago.

I actually thought the total would be higher, duke hasn't scored less than 80 at home this year and you know how wake doesn't mind trading baskets in a high paced affair...

Wake gets a huge chunk of their points from the line, 25% to be exact, and duke hardly fouls, they only give up 14% of their opponents points from line good for top 10 in nation.

zero chance I wanna back duke here, but I'm also not much interested in the other side. The over intrigues me but worried about this stretch wake is on that I spoke about earlier.

They key to the game is going to be turnover margin, duke isn't gonna beat themselves and wake can get sloppy with the rock at times.

Duke is gonna score, and if wake has a draught, they might fall to far behind.

I'm not a huge fan of this duke team, as you stated very young.

line is prob a few points high, but this ended up a clear pass for me.

wish I could of been more helpful, but I just don't have a good enough feel on this matchup tonight to make an investment.

It's a strong play imo,

The Oakland Zoo will be rocking, and we have both defensive minded coaches/teams. This game should resemble when Purdue or Cuse came to town. Both squads mirror each other, as they both can board the O Glass and get points off second chance shots. However in this case their should be a lot of one and dones due to the fact that they are equally talented on the defensive glass. Neither team fouls much at all, and while they both shoot it extremely well from the strike, I don't think it matter much here.

Both squads are near the top of the nation is defensive possession length, right around 18 seconds. Neither are exactly explosive on the offensive end as both play in the half court. Neither squad turns it over nor forces many turnovers, limiting easy points in transition on the break, that come from those turnovers.

Both squads are two of the oldest , more mature teams in the country as well.

I I think every point will be tough to come by and most possessions entering deep in the shot clock. Clock should continue to run, due to lack of fouls we spoke of, preventing too many points coming with the time stopped.

Although both squads shoot the 3 well they don't shoot it too much, as they work it inside out and get open looks off the O glass, which we think will be limited..,

It should be a flat out conference grind, but I've been wrong before...

-side note , we are looking to fade Pitt next out @ notre dame... Tough environment and first true road game, only the second game away from the zoo. The better Pitt looks the better the line we get , hoping for -3 or less.

Thx doggy, their are definately opportunities in golf matchups for profit. Picking a tourney winner has potential as well but i find u need to hit a longshot future or 2 in the calender year to really profit. Just like most sports their is alot of info to sift through when it comes to golf capping, this week is a limitted field so their isnt near as much to look through. Before i start really looking in depth @ golf matchups I think its smart to just sit back and see how the first few weeks play out. Golf is in a good spot with youth starting to rise and alot more top level players developing each year making it competitive.
I have been doing fantasy golf for about 7 years now and wagering on golf the last 2 years. I may post a few the first month of the pga season and if things are going well start my own thread. Thx again Lkid and sorry for the long post ncaa hoops guys.

Yeah man golf is really exciting when you have $$ on it, and we did nice last few years. We hit a couple long shots but I'm mainly focused on the matchups this year and you give to much back in chunks before you make a score...

I'll say to myself " ahh what's $10 here and there", lol but it's a very tough prop and only certain books have legit golf future lines, without those it's useless.

No one this week.......majors from time to time......hard for me to spend time on it during the season. Try to follow it as best I can. The only sport in the world no one would intentionally try to lose or fix an outcome. Probably the best sport to bet. Love the head to head matches.

Here is some info i just came across on graeme mcdowell in regards to this weeks tourney.
McDowell finished third here in his only trip to Kapaula in 2011. He actually owns the course record here as well. And it seems that he may have finally righted the ship. He picked up a WIN and a third place finish in his last two tournaments of 2015.
