Fairfield Vs Canisius........Help

I'm unsure about this game but I am leaning heavily on Canisius -4.5.

Both teams are on 5 game winning streaks but Fairfield has two wins against dreadful Iona and one against terrible Saint Peter's in that span. While Canisius has beaten the best in the MVAAC ( Marist, Manhattan ) in that same span.

Fairfield beat them earlier this year at home by 11, but Canisius actually lead that game by 17 points at one time. My gut tells me that Canisius should wins this game by 10 or more.

I'm still in limbo on this one............ 3 hours till tip time people...

This game is a toss up and definitely a no-play for me, but if I had a gun to my head I would lean ever so slightly to Farfield solely because of the old axiom, "When in doubt, take the points!" Yes both teams have won 5 games in a row, and in fact both teams have beaten Iona twice and St. Peters once during its streak. The difference is that the other two Canisius wins came vs. conference kingpins Manhattan and Marist, while Fairfield beat Niagra and Siena. STILL, Canisius actually has a better record on the road (7-5) than it does at home (4-5), and the Siena team that Fairfield upset recently did win eaily by 18 points at Canisius a few weeks ago. Simply too close to call for me.

If its a toss up for you Hemlock, my best advice would be to lay off it and pass on the game. Thats the best bet when you cant find a edge for a game.

Yeah, so let Fairfield and Canisius grapple. Last Fairfield game,
bigboydan and I were really leaning Fairfield, but we didn't go for it and we should've. I haven't been handicapping much college today, so I'm not really up-to-date enough on this matchup as I'd need to be to make a selection. Off the top of my head, I'd lean Canisius along with you. What is it you like about a Canisius play?

From what I've looked at for this game, I don't see much value with either side. I second LT's post, if forced to I'd take Fairfield.
