Im new here and have been trying to accumulate some points so I could bet some games, well I tried in the casino and I loose it everytime so beware of it. I played basic strategy BJ to the "T" and still not ever a profit. Its my own fault was just impatient. Everything else here is great, BOL to everyone and hope all had great holiday.

Hi, Mitchell88! I am also new on the forum, can not give you too many pointers at this stage. My only advice to you would be to take it slow, browse around and get a good general idea of what's happening here. Don't rush into action just yet, there's plenty of opportunities ahead - take your time to find the right one.

Basic strategy in blackjack is still a losing game. You must count cards and bet more on the hands that you have an advantage, and less when the casino has the advantage. You will never win more than 44% of the BJ hands you play. As for sports betting, the usual lines will require you to bet 11$ to win $10. That means that to break even you need to win more than 52% of all of your wagers. My suggestion is to read as much as you can in the handicapper think tank, and also in the subforum for the sport that you wish to bet: ie NBA basketball. Read people's write ups and why they are choosing certain teams to win. Lastly, when you finally start handicapping your own games. Decide what you think that the point spread should be, and only bet the games where your spread differs severely from the sportsbook spread.
