    What does this mean?
Hello im new to the forum and new to betting, I have checked many threads and in every thread i see ppl write following (example): SJ/STL Over 1.5 (1st) (+115)

    TOR/TB Over 1.5 (1st) (-127)

What does that mean? Why is one red and the other one green?

    Cheers!

They are using an aberration know as american odds.

In the civilised world +115 is known as 2.15 or 23/20 and is known as odds against (hence green)

-127 is 1.7874 and has no usual equivalent in fractions but can be expressed at 100/127 and is odds on (hence red)

      ^^^^No,no,no,no,no

Red would mean that that bet lost, while green means that they cashed it.

Basically, tailing those two bets you would be down $12 (+115, -127) on the night, assuming your unit size is $100
