How to build an BR form the ground UP

i'm new to the forum and i would like to ask you guys to point me in the right direction about how to best build an BR.
I have small starting money but dont have any problem to go agressive.

The best way to make a small fortune is to start with a large one.

Best way to build bankroll starting out is to take bonuses. You can double your money that way automatically. Beat bonus. Take winning and take another bonus. Rinse and repeat.

Getting aggressive is the best way to lose bankroll.

Should i book the bonus by counter betting or allways aiming at value betting?

Beat it straight up with small bets, 1 to 2% preferably, which will not be easy to do. But is also a good way to test your betting abilities which you probably overestimate.

Counter betting just eats away at your money unless you have a bigger account and can flip the bonus easily. In that case, you would not be starting out though and would not need to build bankroll.

I was going to write this our better to just google it.

Each sportsbook has it's own set of “rollover requirements” that determine the amount the player must bet before he or she can withdraw their winnings with the bonus intact. If a book requires a 5x rollover on their bonus, this means that the player must risk an equivalent of 5 times their deposit plus bonus.

Depends on what you want to do and how much you are going to start with. I think I'd take a 100% bonus from Betmania to start. I'd also want an account to bet early lines so put a little at Betonline or Bookmaker when they offer their football bonuses in a couple of months.

If you are going to start with $200 or $300, I'd just take Betmania's 100% bonus and try to beat them.

If you start with $500, I'd put $300 Betmania and $200 at Betonline or Bookmaker.

Between Betonline/Bookmaker and Betmania, you will have the best chance to win.

Realize you are almost guaranteed to lose long term. Bet for fun and not for profit. Embrace the challenge and do not start doubling down to get even. If you successfullly complete rollover, you might have a chance at winning at this betting thing but don't get overconfident and don't lose too much gambling.

Do your own research, buying into services in my experience is not worth it, nothing g wrong with forums but staying committed to 1 tipster is tough because you'll always hear about the hot tipster that week or month and you'll begin to play tips from both or multiple tipsters at a time and usually not all with be profitable daily so when one wins and the other loses u don't win.
Become best friends with Google, with whatever sport you choose to focus on always rely on Google to find information. Along the way be sure to bookmark any and every site that has info.

Honestly this is the tip of the iceberg when starting out.

Check out http://blogabet.com they have a limited amount of sportsbooks but what you can do this test your ability to handicap games without risking money. Using actual betting lines all you have to do is grade your bets correctly and they will show your +/- . They track every sport separately, every league, units of bets, even the times of bets posted. Showing your +/- for instance it may say between the hours of 1pm -3pm when i bet on MLS soccer, I win 80% and ive +10units

I allready read the sharps betting and planing to read wheignin the odds. Any more books worthy?

In my litle researchi discovered that are 3 ways of winning money on sports betting.

Punting
Arbing
And Trading.

I'm more interested in learning the punting way or the handicapper way.

I'm not excluding arbing or trading but i wanna focus more on handicaping.
But i read that's not possible profeting by that way.
It is real that information? I know that's not for everyone but someone has to be profting that way.

For past odds you have www.betexplorer.com that i simple love. Really really love. www.Oddsportal.com is a must.

There are some free databases, but i think everyone has his own.

bro now your asking for the ancient Chinese secret lol there is none it's all on how you want to approach it once you begin to dig in you'll be able to spot trends, know what to stay away from, and once you start to do that you'll be able to see games differently. I'm no expert.


Ok try this trick i use its not guaranteed money and you'll have to be quick when placing the bet. When a game is favored to go o2.5, instead of pregame betting live bet but not o2.5. The trick is once a game starts odds for live o1.5 are around -300 but gradually it drops at about the 30' and no goal has been scored odds sometimes around -200 or so then as you get closer to HT it gets lower and lower once odds get to a comfortable price let's say -120 bet the o1.5 now this only works if no goal has been scored. Statistically a very high % of goals are scored between 45'-55' so when either team scores now your looking good and you also will have a cash out option with decent odds (certain books carry this option) i'll tell you what i do if a 2nd goal hasn't scored by 82' i make a gut decision in most cases on whether to cashout and make a little or ride it out and get what full amount. That's only in cases that a 2nd goal hasnt scored but if a 2nd goal scored you won.

I've used this for years and has a great success rate. Maybe 1-5 dont win. Also -120 was a ex. ive gotten odds as good as +140 it comes down to patience and knowing teams well

You can either figure out a good bet or you can't. Most people that are good at betting are advanced at math and can build computer models. The rest of us just do our own thing and try to come out on top. Just try to pick a winner and you will learn as you go. There are no books to read and you can't really learn to handicap. It is something that pretty much has to come naturally and it doesn't for too many. We are all trying to figure out if we have what it takes.

Yes, it is possible to win with handicapping. But it is very hard and getting harder all the time.

I have read that strategy Stackzilla, but that's trading. And even for trading doesnt hurt to have some skills handicaping.
Hope you succed with that strategy.

I think that's spot on. Diferently from other areas, when you share information about handicaping, you hurt yourself cause the market will eliminate that inefficiency.
And it's a fight when you are only a David vs an army of Golias.
But i think i get a more solid grip about the whole picture.

that's what i do i handicap takes up about 3-4 hours a day. that o1.5 live bet is good for an extra $100 or more a week especially today with Sweden and Norway playing i capped certain games going over 3 so i was live betting o2.5 got some great odds.
