I'm new here too, I like these forums, but sometimes it seems like a lot of drama, I guess that's how it is on any forums though, not just wagering forums. How do books get their rating here though? What's the protocol for rating them?

#2Hi gochiefs913,
Welcome to SBR Forum. Great question. One of the things that influences a sportsbook's rating is their efficiency paying players on time. We rely on feedback from real players through things like the August 2016 payout reports thread, the SBR Community poll for top sportsbooks, and feedback we receive via email. SBR has a free complaint mediation service.
In addition, things like company history, associated companies, sportsbook licensing play a part in an initial rating. For instance a book with a UK Gambling Commission license would debut higher than a book in say Nicaragua without a license. For a complete list of sportsbooks with their rating, visit the rating guide.Comment
