it counts for all games, but it is much more important, or impactful on games where the score is tied at the end of regulation. And do tell Sawyer! What gives!? Is there no overtime in Futbol?

In soccer there are completely different betting rules, but it depends on what the books offer. Overtime is usually included in US sports like football and basketball. Some of the European books give odds for the regular game time only even on US sports, and you can also bet on a draw (although it does not have much value in basketball, not that there are not any, but it is very hard to pick the right game).
