Andre Johnson - Courtland Finnegan Fight.

Just like that dumb thug Lagarette Blount... when that kind of crap happens on national tv, in a crowded stadium... how do these fools not get assault charges?
I guess I understand it possibly in the heat of the battle, but isn't that just assault?

Totally agree. I say it was time for a gentleman to go for it on a total punk.

AJ has been a perfect gentleman for the most part so far and this kid, and I do mean kid was just playing dirty football.

I say AJ is a role model - hold yourself decent and good to your people

but when it is time to turn the switch

if it doesn't get you in serious legal trouble

well, everyone has to let go sometime. I LOVE, not like, the way he did it.

I hope the NFL sees it for what it really is and minimizes his punishment.

The punch he landed in the back of his head was a good punch. That was the only real punch he threw. If he woulda landed that on the chin of a guy like you, you'd be sleeping.
I don't know if you've ever been in a fight, but if you throw a guy onto the ground like a rag doll, and then beat his ass, it still counts. Not that Johnson beat his ass, you don't have to call it that if you don't want, maybe 'manhandled' would be a better word.

if the nfl has any balls they would suspend both of them for the rest of the season without pay.but im sure no matter what.the union will get involved with any decision.but im sure they will be suspended for aleast two games

of a guy like me? you don't know me and i could hit him with two straights before that flailing right got near my head. and when he threw him to the ground finnegan was turned around; he just yanked him down by the shoulder pads. anyway enjoy your fantasy of andre johnson beating me up

Are suspensions coming? This isn't like the NBA. NBA does not promote contact. NBA has 82 games to suspend these guys. NFL only has 16. I think a fight like this should just result in a hefty fight for Andre and a stiff fine for that piece of shit Cortland. I don't see how you can suspend a guy for throwing a few blows in a scuffle in a game where you beat the shit out of each other for 60 minutes. Andre has no history of being a problem.

Watch again. Literally 1 second into the video, Andre let's up for a split second and Finnegan throws the first punch.

I wonder if he'll be able to appeal the suspension so it gets put off until, like, the 2011 season.

Maybe Goodell will take note of Finnegan's history and of the provocation.

They didn't suspend the guy from Oak after he hit Rapistberger. Of course this was worse than that but we'll see. Finnefag already has been fined around 3 times this year already.
