Thanks for the heads up Icon; The transaction ended up being cancelled for reasons unknown, and the $500 was indeed returned to my bank account. I've moved on to a couple other books in the interim, but I'll circle back eventually and try a different deposit method with them in the not too distant future I imagine...

Stumper, etransfer issues can and have happened at every Ontario licensed bookie. THe funds will show up eventually if there was a problem, either returned to your bank or added to bookie balance.

Betano has a nice feature of being able to payout to a v.isa debit card directly if you used it to deposit, faster than etransfer for sending and receiving.
I use a Scotia Vdebit card at betano no problems.
