Nice try Pauly! Ml was a stretch but taking the pts was not a bad bet. Not like they lost by 30 for gods sake. "Obvious" play hit tonight but if you make a habit of layin dd's on the road ecs in a div game then you have A LOT to learn about this business and will not win in the long run.

I'm sorry, but if you even half paid attention to the Raiders this year (do you have nfl sunday ticket dawg?) you would know that they are in shambles. They may be THE worst team in the nfl. I am not sure if I would take them over any team right now at this moment, that is how bad they are. They are the perfect team for Manning to pick apart like an old scab. Game should of been even more lop sided had not the broncos choked in the red zone multiple times and punched in a couple more TDs

You can spit all the facts about divisional road games all you want but at the end of the day the Raiders are a god awful team and the Broncos are amongst the elite in the NFL at the moment

No shit Sherlock they did lose by dd's. Point is its never a good habit no matter how bad you think the dog might be. And there were some good angles for backing Oakland here. Dmc back, kuper out for Denver, and the getting dd's at home in 2nd game of div rivalry. Oakland could have played a better game on offense no doubt and this would have hit. Too many dropped passes and a costly stupid pick. Shit happens congrats Donko backers.

barely covered and the percentages say you make that play every time, and lets be real every time a div home team is a dd dog thye are more than likely every bit the mess oaktown is, yet manage to cover a great deal of the time,, oak defense played way above their heads holding den down in red zone and gave team that typically scores a bs td every chance to cover....congrats you won ( i won too, with 1st half under), but the reasons you giving to talk shit about the play are senseless, of coarse oak bad which was clearly factored into the line, a line once again oak had every opportunity to cover..

Personally this is one of the first times in a long time I actually laid dd on the road. It's a pretty awful bet no matter what the outcome of the game was. The only reason I did so in this case is because it was the third highest rated play in my system for the week. Even still I found myself cringing as I placed the bet on Den, because everybody who has half a clue about how to bet the NFL knows that one of the cardinal rules is never to do that.

Covering is covering -Oak defence played very well & Denver still covered.
DD home/road favs hardly ever cover but this one did.The thing about this forum is every losing bet is the right side to someone even after the game.

I wasn't even tempted to tease the other side Oak +17.5 they have been playing so badly. What I didn't count on was that the great General Peyton would use this game as an opportunity to work on other, weaker aspects of the Broncos offense. Did anyone else get the feeling he was "toying" with the Raiders just to see some Defensive reactions to alt plays? They were basically like "Hey, let's try and win this one with the run and see what happens". Raiders D still sucks and their WRs are an embarrasment. Palmer's new official position is cat herder. Next weeks matchup with KC will be another dangerous temptation for Raider fans.

That being said, Peyton's science experiment with the run was not a resounding success. He got sacked multiple times by a Def who only had 14 sacks all year (I'm guessing that's the number). The new offensive schemes made Oakland look good which means they still need a lot of work and won't hold up against Better Defensive oriented teams like Steelers, Balt & Houston. Peyton and Co. are smart enough to know they won't get to the SB playing the way they played last night. In the coming weeks look for them to continue working on the run game and long drives which means less scoring. They won't take any chances with Peyton down the stretch.
